A year ago, I gave this place 5 stars. Today, unfortunately, it deserves only 1 star — or even minus 5.
I came on a Sunday about two hours before closing time. There were around 10 guests in the restaurant and only one bartender, who was talking to other customers. I stood at the entrance for a while, but no one greeted me. Eventually, I took a free table within the bartender’s line of sight.
I also noticed that the tables were not 100% clean, which was disappointing and did not create a good first impression.
Ten minutes passed — nothing. He clearly noticed me, but didn’t approach. I honestly started wondering if I was supposed to shout across the restaurant to get service, which is something I’ve never experienced before.
After another five minutes, I finally managed to catch his attention and asked for a menu. He brought it and said someone would come to take my order (I’m not even sure if he meant himself or someone else). Another 10 minutes went by — still no one came.
At one point, something broke at a nearby table. The bartender saw and heard it but didn’t react until the guest called him over. He then walked past my table again without saying a word.
I was honestly shocked. Maybe I didn’t look “right,” or maybe I should have greeted the entire restaurant loudly to get attention — but this level of service was unacceptable. In the end, I stood up and left. The bartender saw me leaving and still didn’t react.
I came hoping to enjoy a good meal and even order takeaway for a friend. Instead, I left disappointed.

My friends & I come here often for the drink specials & wing night. We were shocked and disappointed when this amount of fries came out for $4.99. Ranch and dipping sauce is not included, for an extra $1.50. This is in no way $6.50 worth of food. We mentioned it to the waitress and she told us “that’s just how they come”. It does seem like they skimp out on the apps and sides when we dine. Will likely not be back for the food.

Your bill will be 4% higher if you pay with card. Pretty expensive place to eat for one person. I got pickle fries and boneless wings. Pickle fries I don’t recommend, and I love fried pickles. $10 for them and they were super greasy and the batter does not adhere to half of the pickles. I had a few decent looking pickle fries but it was mostly a pile of soggy thin pickles and greasy batter. The boneless wings were decent. The cost is too much though. It costs $13 for 10 boneless wings when you add in the up charge. Maybe I should’ve had the burger but I probably will not go back.

Great burger spot directly on YSU campus. Expect a loud college life atmosphere. We had great service and a great burger. Fries are good. One of the few places with a Guiness tap!

I was really hoping for better. We walked in at roughly 430. No one but us. Put us in a corner booth. The pretzel and dips was amazingly delicious and set us up for disappointment for the rest of the meal. I got the Rhode Island red with white cheedar Mac and cheese. The sandwich was ok the tenders were obviously from frozen the Mac and cheese was way over cooked and flavorless. Felt like it came out of a bag. My wife got a burger and chips. The burger was a frozen patty and flavorless and the chips way undercooked. It’s sad because this place has the potential to be a great spot but for almost 50 dollars for 2 people to have a sandwich I expect better than frozen patties, chicken and Mac and cheese from a bag. Half way through another group came in and was seated literally right next to us in an empty restaurant. Which wasn’t the end of the world but was awkward…but man that was a good pretzel.
