fried chicken was terrible… over cooked, very tough- literally not edible. fried dumplings were previously frozen. better off going to Chicken & Biscuit on broad street for chicken nuggets. idk- maybe their Japchae is better? ..doubtful.

This place had a weird vibe. It’s kinda authentic, but not authentic and actually it smelled a little funny in there. The cashier’s vibe was a little weird too just almost like he knew but didn’t know what he was doing. The food is very basic at best I won’t be back. It’s not bad. It’s just very basic and doesn’t taste that fresh or authentic. I had a gift card so I’m guuuud. Yikes

Today I have a lunch in restaurant.
I placed an order of chicken wing with soy sauce based. Its taste is fantastic, little soy sauce burned smell and salty and sweet. It makes harmony. Asiantic small from burned soy sauced and crunchy skin, salty and sweet meat.
It is art.
But Room has no air conditioner.

Visited second time. This time dine in. The online order was closed because they ran out of a few stuff on the menu but the young Asian lady was super nice- she honored the 10% discount anyway. The bathroom was clean and dining area cosy and nice. Neighborhood joint ✅.

Considering the location, it’s a good deal. Decent portions for the price . Pretty quick too. Wish they have longer hours.

Attended an event at NJPAC and was looking for a quick bite and found BugolgiZip. It was very quiet on a Sunday night. We were the only table. It’s not the best Korean but I enjoyed my kimchi stew and my daughter enjoyed the bone broth soup. I felt like the bulgogi meat was a bit tough. Overall worth it for a quick bite in Newark.

I just moved a block away and decided to try this place out since it’s so close. The first experience was pretty good. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi Bowl and it was a lot more than I thought I would get. So that makes the price even better than what I thought it was. I definitely recommend this place I would go back and possibly order for takeout often since it’s on my way home.

The owner and worker were really sweet. Despite it being empty it definitely deserves more customers. I am from NYC however, if I could I would come every day. AMAZING prices as well!

Recently ordered through Uber eats. Absolutely awful experience.
– The kimchi pancakes tasted rancid to our entire party and the portion was surprisingly small.
– The rice cake dish that arrived was mostly liquid (very watered down) and came with very little rice cakes, with terrible taste and consistency (very mushy, not chewy).
– The tofu stew arrived half full, tasted watered down, and was missing the ramen I had ordered to go with it.
– To add insult to injury, it was also much more expensive than our regular Korean food spots, but we wanted to branch out.
– every single dish was too cold and needed to be heated. This obviously ruins some of the food like the chicken and the pancakes

I genuinely am left to wonder if they sent us leftover food, diluted with water, from a customer who dined in their restaurant? They then did not respond to any of our phone calls to try to remediate the issue. Would recommend avoiding this place.

I ordered from uber, as the description said it would come with onions and etc… I chose the option with cheese and I recieved nothing on it except cheese and watery sauce. Disappointed by the price just to eat sweet tteokbokki with nothing on it.

Nice, no frills spot for casual Korean food. I liked their kimbap! And the prices were pretty reasonable. Nice customer service too.
