Bula Bar seemed like a good place to enjoy the pool, watch sports and take a cold drink. On the other hand, the food is not recommended, at high prices and not so good in taste. Regarding service, my waitress was nice but she completely forgot my pizza order and when I ordered something different the food didn’t take long but it wasn’t what I ordered. The passion fruit smoothie was good and the Piña Colada was one of the best I’ve ever had.

I’m honestly surprised by some of the other reviews. Yes, the drinks are very expensive – but what do you expect at a poolside bar at this type of resort? We’ve eaten here countless times over the years, including a couple of quick meals on our recent trip last month. Service has been great on every occasion, and for a pool bar the food is good too. Really nice fish tacos and great chicken quesadillas. Nice place to spend a couple of hours when you want a break from the parks.

The issue is they whack on an 18% service charge for everything even if you walk up to the bar and get the drink yourself . I want to tip but automatically 18% after walking up then handing me a drink its abit much

We really enjoy the food at this hotel pool bar and grill. The nachos are enough to feed two to three people. We really like the fish or chicken tacos and the Huli huli chicken sandwich. The food does take a little bit to come out but it’s always delicious. The drinks are tasty. You can’t go wrong with any of them.

Great service poolside! There’s seating in the restaurant area. It’s all outdoors. Servers come to your lounge chairs. We were all happy with the food and drink selections. The ambiance is calming and beautiful with unique trees.

Food isn’t impressive, but some of the drinks earned them redemption. Typical things like a Pina colada were really good, but I definitely don’t recommend the wine. The service is typically awful – 1/3 days did I ever encounter good service. The manager is not managing effectively, in my opinion, but the bartender is friendly.

While attending a conference at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, I frequently visited the Bula Bar during breaks, down time, and to host short meetings. While the ambiance and food were great, this review is ALL about exceptional service. I live in Chicago, a place where those who indulge love their “neighborhood bar”. After only being at the resort for 4 days, bartenders Daniel and Colin made me feel like the Bula Bar was my neighborhood bar. They were cordial, attentive, and poured amazing drinks. What really stood out to me though is how my drink was waiting for me before I could even sit down. Considering the high volume of guests the resort hosts, I can’t possibly be the only one getting this type of attention. If you stay at Loews, go see Daniel and Colin – you won’t be disappointed. Cheers guys!!
