Had an amazing Sunday afternoon buffet at Bukhara Grill: Indian Spice Rave & Catering in Ridgewood, New Jersey! The spread was generous, fresh, and full of authentic Indian flavors. Every dish was perfectly spiced, rich, and comforting—exactly what you want from a proper Indian buffet.
The ambiance was warm and welcoming, the staff was attentive and friendly, and everything was well-organized and clean. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed Sunday lunch with family or friends.

This place was awesome! Definitely a hidden gem in Ridgewood. Beautifully decorated interior and peaceful ambiance. I went with 2 of my friends and we had the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. This was my second time having authentic butter chicken that wasn’t the frozen Trader Joe’s meal and it didn’t disappoint. Better than Turmeric Bistro in Ridgewood in my opinion. The sauce had great flavor and dunking the garlic naan in it was a game changer. Buttery and garlicky, what more could you ask for! We also had amazing and accommodating service by our server Socorro. He introduced us to an Indian dessert called Gulab Jamun which was also really tasty. It’s sort of like warm donuts/dumplings soaked in sugar/honey. Will definitely be returning here and asking for Socorro!

We drove 45 minutes for date night because we had a great experience at their NYC location, but this place was a big disappointment.
We ordered two appetizers and water. I asked for sparkling water but got still water and didn’t make an issue of it. When the soya malai tikka arrived, it smelled awful—almost like a cleaning chemical—and tasted just as bad. We sent it back.
Instead of addressing the issue, the server brushed it off as “masala smell” and didn’t offer a replacement. Poor service and very disappointing overall. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

When i went to this restaurant I had really good hopes cuz of the reviews, and people told me it was good. But when i ordered the food the chicken drumsticks were really chewy, but the butter chicken was the only good part for that dish. I’m a big biryani fan but also that wasn’t great, there was a lot of masalas (spices) in it which threw off the taste. The chicken tikka masala was the only good dish I liked because it tasted good and the chicken was tender.
Honestly when I had the food I felt that was overpriced for the quality. Like don’t get me wrong $15 for most of the starters and $24+ for the Entrees is a bit too much if the food isn’t good. Some restaurants are a little cheaper but the quality of the food is amazing.
I say its worth a visit but don’t get your hopes up too much. Thats just how I feel.

We had a spectacular anniversary dinner here with our family. The service was prompt and attentive, something we have found lacking in other Indian restaurants. We were greeted with papad and assorted chutneys. Our appetizers were delicious – we shared the soya malai chop, palak chaat, a fig naan with eggplant chutney, and lasoni gobi (amazing!). The vegetarian main courses were also delicious and each had a different flavor – malai kofta, palak paneer, mint paneer tikka and of course, we had to have the dal Bukhara (every bite was buttery delicious). The naans were huge and tasty! When we mentioned it was our anniversary, we were treated to a “Cake Bukhara” with an assortment of gulab jamun, ras malai and gajjar ka halwa. A memorable evening with delicious food and outstanding service!

Such an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful when we were choosing what to order, and they made us feel so comfortable the entire time. We never felt rushed, even though we stayed for a while. It’s BYO, which makes it even better because you can bring what you like. They were also so accommodating and even let us bring our own dessert to celebrate. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back

I was so happy to try this Indian restaurant for this event! I love Indian food! When I arrived I found paid parking nearby. I walked in and was greeted and sat at a table in a small, cute restaurant. The appetizers they served were all delicious, but my favorite was the cauliflower. The flavor was great! I really liked the buffet style meal with the curry chicken being my favorite! The naan was also so soft and yummy! I really had an amazing time!

When we were finalizing the menu for the cocktail hour and dinner, Akshay sat with us and helped us pair and theme the selections so nicely. The type of service was so personal and professional.
Day of the event, everything was like clockwork. The entire team did such a fabulous job. The food was excellent, the menu was grand and everyone appreciated the taste and depth of a multi cuisine spread.
The differentiation of Bukhara grills personal touch from start to finish is not comparable to any other caterers in this space. Everyone is still talking about the food and the taste and grandeur even after two weeks!!
