It’s as hot as India in this place. Ouch!
I have come here a few times over the years and I often order from UberEATS. The price difference between Uber and in house is insanely jacked.

I love the chili chicken and today I had the Toka masala. The food is excellent with a reasonable price for Indian food in CDMX.

The service is slowwwww and incongruent, but they are very nice people. If you can live with that you’ll love it.

We ordered delivery from Bukhara for a family Shraddha offering and were shocked at the decline in quality. My husband, who once cooked in an Indian ashram kitchen, was insulted by the cheapness of the meal. We spent approximately $740 pesos with tip for the order you see in the photo.

Daal: a thin, watery broth with barely two tablespoons of lentils (see photo).

Naan: A piece and a half – burnt and brittle (see photo).

Paneer dish: passable but lacked authentic seasoning.

Gulab jamun: tiny pieces swimming in overly sweet syrup.

Rice: Good portion but bland.

The portion sizes and freshness bear no resemblance to the photos still shown on Google from 3+ years ago. Either ownership has changed or a miserly cook is now in charge.

As Swami Sivananda warned, “Do not be miserly in service. Give with a large heart. The miserly man shrinks and suffers.”
Bukhara seems to have forgotten this principle. We felt scammed and spiritually saddened that food offered to our ancestors was treated with such stinginess.

If this meal had been served in-house we would have walked out without eating. Until management restores authentic recipes, fair portions, and basic care, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ordered butter chicken, lemon rice & saag paneer… I contracted salmonella hours after and lost 7 lbs being the violently ill I have ever been. I kept tasting the butter chicken for 3 days after eating. It was also very expensive for what you’d get at a $10 buffet in almost any city in the world AND it was oily and not even good!

On 18th February 2026 I ordered lot of food. But I ate only Baingan bharta. Vomited 2 times so far on 19th morning and I went to bath room due to loose motion more than 3 times. Thankfully my other family members who did not eat bhaingan bartha don’t have any problem. They ate shahi paneer. Posting this so that you can take care of the quality of food in future.

Wow! This was a great way to get off the tacos for an evening without loosing the delicious spices and experience MX has to offer. The lamb biryani was amazing. Saffron rice was light fluffy and delicate. Originally came here for the vegetable samosas, but that colorful rice is what won me over. The green drink was the perfect Palate cleanser, ginger lime mint. Didn’t get past a spoonful of the corn soup. But the service and vibe surpassed and chance of complaining about the soup. Great find, I’ll be back for sure.

Great Indian restaurant with a signature “India” in every inch of a restaurant and in food & service.
The best Indian Restaurant in Mexico city. The owner was not there but the staff & chef Robin Singh are excellent.
I enjoyed my lunch & takeaway for family

Absolutely delicious! menu has good variety, what we wanted . As we started ordering the waitress told us they have these packages, they include one main dish, naan bread of your choice, one drink (beer, juice or chai tea) and one desert, all for either 180 , 200 or 300 pesos. Great value.

Butter chicken and tikka masala are absolutely delicious!! The waitress was accommodating . I asked waitress if instead of naan bread I could have a small portion of rice, she asked the boss, and it was all good. Felt so happy cos of my food intolerances they were willing to do that at no extra cost.

I recommend butter chicken ***

I will come back here again for sure.

7th July my second visit here and again good meal…I again went for set menu and everything was well made. Service was friendly from staff however my only small complaint would be attitude of owners. I said hello to two of the Sikh owners in Punjabi and was given a very stern look…my advise would be look and act more friendly as it costs nothing.

I was here on weds….I had veg samosa and chicken 65 for starters. Both were good.
On Tues, weds and Thurs they have comb deal for main…..so I had lamb rogan gosh with butter naan and beer bottle . Again main was good….I will try again but off main menu.
