Came here for dinner and the highlights for me were 1) the kids quesadilla, and 2) the music. While my tacos weren’t great (there are plenty of better options nearby), the kids quesadilla was the best I’ve tried and my toddler loved it. Great value too. The music makes the atmosphere here great too. The sound system was fantastic, loud and clear, but you can still clearly hear someone across the table. There was only one individual working the better and waiting tables but he did a fantastic job managing it all solo.

Búho is a cozy blend of Mexican restaurant-meets-bar, with some nice nods to vegetarians like impossible meat as a protein option. The mushroom and chicken burrito is delicious and comes with a crunchy Oaxacan cheese wrapper that rkevates it far above your typical Mexican restaurant fare. The bar has a tequila & mescal focus, which isn’t my personal vibe, so I had a very nice Pathfinder-based mocktail instead. There was a single server covering the entire place but he handled it effortlessly and was super friendly, even though it was our first time there. As a bonus the rollerskating rink is across the street, so we worked off our burritos there. Definitely recommend & will be back!

Buho is really great. Cozy and chill atmosphere coupled with great food, drinks and a fantastic tequila selection. We shared shrimp tacos and a pork quesadilla – both delicious. The shrimp were big and filled with flavor and the pineapple salsa was delicious. We also shared guacamole because, well you have to get it when it is on the menu and it was very good. Drinks were great. Service was fantastic even though they were pretty busy. We will be back for sure. The corn looked delicious, we will have to try it next time.

Delicious food in a hip but down home setting.
The service is no frills. It not necessarily unfriendly but 100% not warm lol. There was a cool moment where we got to have a little chat w the kitchen staff that delivered our food and tell him much we loved it and the enthusiasm was great!
The specials are unique, we had a squash/potato “lasagne “ that was homey, cozy and delicious. Tasted like Mexican au gratin? Yum!
The taquitos are low key DELICIOUS! Filling and well made with a tasty sauce.
The taco salad is a bit dry w uncooked black beans, cook those beans out and down and use some bone broth and spices! The shell was light and the portion perfect.
The burger was good and fries were yummy.
The churro dessert was perfect to spit w four people. Came w four little churros!
We asked for an espresso martini and they couldn’t make it and didn’t have close to an alternative, oh well.
The service was fast and efficient just lacking as far as a small neighborhood joint goes but we’d come back.

Sooo disappointing! Ordered food on-line 1.5 hours before closing. Received confirmation order was received and in process. Received notice driver was picking up order and an ETA on delivery. Then at the time it was to be delivered, received a text indicating order had been canceled and to reach out to the restaurant. Called the restaurant and there was no answer because by that time they were now closed. We had just returned from being away for a week. Would have been nice to know earlier that our ordered couldn’t be fulfilled when all other options were now closed.

I went for the nachos. I love their house made cheese sauce, my favorite kind of nachos. I ordered more cheese sauce to go. I just wish they let me put ground beef instead of steak on my nachos. The green sauce is my favorite. We also tried these chicken battered fried potatoes, they were pretty good. That sauce they serve with it is bangin. I’ll be back when I have a hankering for nachos again.

Buho, a locally owned mexican bar, has a large list of cocktails, beers and food. The staff here is amazing, super friendly, very helpful in recommendations and just overall great. They have a few tvs above the bar, and plenty of seating inside. Their menu is burritos and tacos with a few extras, but get the burrito covered in queso. They’re very large and pretty cheap for what you get in terms of size and taste – amazing. Would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a new burrito/taco place with some drinks.
