We had a great experience at Buga Ramen in Cádiz! We went with our 11-month-old, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — they made us feel right at home, which made dining with a baby so much easier.
The atmosphere is super fun — it has a real anime-inspired vibe, with colorful decor, playful touches, and a cozy layout that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a ramen spot straight out of a Japanese series. It’s casual but with a lot of personality, and even though it was busy, it didn’t feel overwhelming.
The food was excellent — the Spicy Karaage had the perfect kick and was super crispy, the Nikuman duck was soft and flavorful, and the Ebi Fry was perfectly fried and not greasy at all. The Shoyu Duck Ramen had a rich, comforting broth, and the Unagi Don was beautifully presented and delicious.
The only thing that felt off was when we were about to enter — one of the male staff members (likely kitchen staff, as he was wearing gloves) was smoking a cigarette outside while still wearing his gloves. It wasn’t a huge issue once we were seated, but it did stand out.
Overall, a really enjoyable experience — great food, a fun anime-like atmosphere, and very family-friendly. We’d definitely come back!

Really enjoyed this spot! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect bite. The toppings were fresh, and you could tell they care about quality. Great portions! The vibe was relaxed and enjoyable, great place to hang with friends over a big bowl of ramen. I would like to add that the decoration is amazing for anime fans Goku, Pikachu, and others, the server was very attentive and friendly, and fast services!!

To be honest, I didn’t expect too much from Buga Ramen, and unfortunately, it’s not a place I would recommend for the food itself.
We tried the Chicken Katsudon, but it fell far short of authentic Japanese flavors:
1. Kimchi was added on top – which really doesn’t belong on a katsudon and clashed with the dish.
2. The seasoning was overly salty, masking any hint of sweetness or the subtle dashi taste that defines proper katsudon.
3. The egg component was almost nonexistent, which made the dish feel incomplete.
That said, the restaurant does have a unique atmosphere worth experiencing. The interior is filled with manga figures (with a special love for Dragon Ball), and the food is delivered to your table by a cat-shaped robot. It feels playful, lively, and clearly designed to entertain.
So, while I wouldn’t recommend Buga Ramen for anyone seeking authentic Japanese cuisine, it could be a fun stop for families with children or for those who enjoy quirky, manga-inspired spaces.

Celebrated my Birthday in Buga ramen the food was good (ok ok ). Our food was serve in a timely manner with the robot server plus the wait staff. We had edamame, 2 ramen, two sets of gyoza, shrimp buns and fish with rice. The place is filled anime figures and posters like doreamon dragon balls and many more. The only thing we noticed is that the server does not smile and greet but overall we enjoyed our dinner as the cat robot server always greets after bringing our orders gracias .

A cool place for anime and manga lovers. We came here at the suggestion of our daughters, but I must admit that the food was very good. The ramen is amazing, the appetizers are great as well. The only thing that was funny was the robot, which was probably supposed to deliver food to the tables itself, and yet someone from the staff was constantly following it and treated it as a kind of special tray. Overall, an interesting place with delicious food

Fun Ramen restaurant. The ramen has bags of flavour. The portions are generous which makes it good value. They could play music though. Even with the fun Japanese manga decor and the robot waiter the atmosphere lacks a smidge without music.

The service was fine but I would rate the food so poorly I needed to put everything on 1/5.
The food is fine for teenagers who have never eaten Japanese food, beyond that it’s best avoided. I got some gyozas which were ok, the ramen I ordered had the lowest quality chicken I have ever eaten in a restaurant, my wife ordered a combo that was made up of a similar quality chicken with teriyaki sauce from a packet and lettuce with salad dressing on it. As bad as it gets.
