At first I wasn’t going because there’s limited parking on the street but there is free for first 2 hours (not one minute over) garage very close. Game changer.
It’s a small vintage brick exterior that is cute and has a bar and a few tables in the front room. Yes, a bar with breakfast! Very helpful and friendly bartender.
There’s more cute high ceiling vintage looking rooms past the front room and it seemed to be a place for first date meetings judging by conversations overhead. One sweet young British lady was thoroughly confused by the “biscuit”. (In her country a biscuit is a cookie.) So getting a cat head sized enormous biscuit was a shock.
I ordered a chipped beef biscuit. $13.99. It was 2 halves of an enormous biscuit covered with the finely chipped beef in gravy. It was really good but had to take half home. Also got a to go biscuit and sausage gravy. Still good but the gravy was a tad sweet. Warmed up well at home.
A plain cat head biscuit is $3.99. Delicious with jelly!
My recommendation is to definitely go but share a plate.

We had an amazing morning experience around Christmas time going to Buford’s! We had the Deviled Eggs, Biscuit Flight, mimosas, and the Breakfast Sandwich with sausage and scrambled patty. The jams with the biscuit were strawberry, blueberry, and apple butter. All were fantastic, especially the apple butter. It was like the best warm apple cider you’ve ever had but in cold jam form.
The sheer amount of locally sourced ingredients really captured us! Being originally from Leesburg, it was excellent to stop by for the holiday and support local businesses as well as appreciate a portion of what the area has to offer. We would have loved to take home some of the jams! The service was fantastic and friendly, obviously very adept at dealing with large crowds, and took care of us with perfect grace. The shop itself has so much charm while maintaining an elegant dining experience from a staff who really seem to care about their restaurant and the food they send out. We will definitely be stopping by any time we come through again!

I recently had the time to go to Buford‘s biscuits and I was not disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for sometime now so I’m glad I got the opportunity. I ordered the cure for pick up. The sandwich was fantastic. The biscuit was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Nashville hot chicken wasn’t too hot (I wish it was seasoned a little bit more). In total the sandwich about $19. I think it was worth it but if it had a side the would be most reasonable. Definitely glad I tried it.

Cute breakfast place located in center of downtown area. Great atmosphere, country style with meals served in pie tins. We each had a breakfast biscuit. We have hearty appetites and could barely finish. Very tasty with side of homemade jam. We also ordered a side of thick cut bacon which was equally delicious. Ingredients all very fresh. Help yourself to a cup of coffee using a mug hanging off back wall. Patio service in warmer weather.

It was our first time here, and we loved it so much that we’ll definitely be coming back—probably every weekend. The food was incredible—honestly even better than the famous Nashville biscuits. The service makes you feel completely at home, and you can tell the team truly cares about every detail. It’s locally owned and they prioritize locally sourced ingredients, supporting nearby farmers and producers. Charles and Lauren, the owners, are incredibly passionate about their restaurant and it shows in everything—from the food to the outstanding drinks. Highly recommend.

Good food here! Country fried steak and poached egg were amazing! Biscuit and gravy flight was good, but gravy portions were tiny and mushroom gravy was super salty. Would come back and get some different. Biscuit was awesome.

Got The Cure, since it seemed to cover all bases on the menu. The biscuit was incredible: tender and buttery, with a nice crust on the outside. Chicken was crispy and moist. The gravy had a velvety texture and strong herb flavor. Added a little hot sauce to to the top to cut through some of the richness.
The service staff was friendly. Each time all of them walked by (not just my server), they all asked if I needed anything and how things were.
Quaint farmhouse decor was a warm environment to enjoy such a good breakfast.

Buford’s Biscuits did not disappoint!!! The food was so good! I ordered the Baker’s Biscuit. The fusion of flavors, starting with a thick southern biscuit-with honey butter, enhanced by Canadian bacon, and chef kissed by Tillamook cheese-tasted so good. My friend had the Breakfast Sandwich with a gluten free biscuit (per request). We left no crumbs. The service and hospitality even better. ADA accessible (from side entrance). The scenery of the establishment was very pleasing to my eyes. Very well thought out decor. Art in the bathroom that reflects equity (see picture below) I will be going back.

Edit from original post: We love this place! Food is great! We had some billing issues with them but management handled it very professionally. They even refunded our entire meal which was not what we intended but we appreciate the dedication to customer service.

The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can really tell that the owners and staff care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Everyone was incredibly kind, which made the whole experience even better. So happy to support such a great local small business. We’ll definitely be back!
