This is the kind of hole-in-the-wall spot I love to find! I have had my eye on the raving tenderloin reviews this for this place for over a year. My wife suggested that we make the 2.5 hour drive for Valentines Day today to finally give it a try. Absolutely outstanding! Gigantic tenderloin, well seasoned, good thickness, and still juicy. I chose the option to have it cut into sliders served on Hawaiian rolls, and they toasted the whole thing! This was the Big Boy Tenderloin, comes with waffle fries for $19.50 and I upgraded to the slider rolls for an extra $3. I only finished 1/3 of it and brought the rest home. Tons of other great options on the menu and huge portions (the order of pulled pork nachos in the photo is only a half order). Buford’s Pub in Sadorus, IL. Long drive but completely worth it!

Worth the 1 hour drive. Being a lover of all things pork tenderloin had to try the award winning BigBoy. The slider option with cheese and toppings on the side. Worth the hype. Its really good, perfect breading and cook.

We heard about the famous tenderloins here, so we came to try it out. I’m usually not a big tenderloin kinda guy, but I’d have to say this one was excellent! I got the mini, not the giant one, and it was just about perfect. Hot, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. And Buford’s Beans were extraordinary! Spicy and savory, with excellent taste and texture. Honestly the best side of beans I’ve ever had. Get the beans!!! Would not have expected this place in Sadorus, IL. When you see the giant grain bins, you have arrived.

Had the “Big Boy” tenderloin and it came to 2.7lbs of golden breaded pork heaven! Fried to perfection juicy and tender with a good tasting breading. Easily got five sandwiches out of it. Service was great and loved the decor of the place. If you’re in the area and love tenderloin sandwiches this is where you need to be, easily in my top 2!

Were you really like this place? We go there every now and then. Because it’s kind of Fur out, but we like to go it is worth it. That tenderloin filled the whole PAN. It takes about 4 or 5 of us. To eat it so good.

We each had the big boy breaded tenderloin and had plenty left over for 2 more meals. It was thicker than many places that serve them. It was juicy and delicious.. Highly recommend. It comes with a side dish, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and condiments as desired.

Can’t say enough about this place. If there’s any downside I’d say their hours of operation. I wish they’d stay open at least an hour longer Tuesday through Saturday and at least stay open until 6 on Sunday. Everything else is great from the food, to the drinks, to the great service

Stopped in on our way to St. Louis to try one of their famous pork tenderloin sandwiches. It was delicious! We ordered two elephant ears sized sandwiches for a party of 4, and we left with almost one full one. They’re huge! On Sunday they offer a build your own bloody Mary, where you can load it up with whatever you like, even a tenderloin! Definitely worth the time to check it out! Ideal country town pub food and experience. The “Big Boy” is jaw dropping. The people are great but be prepared for a leisurely pace of service. Almost every seat is occupied at a Friday Lunch.
