Man, what an experience Buffet Star is. Dinner price was only 16$ so I don’t know what you’d expect but we set out expectations low and we’re happily satisfied.

Reasonably priced dinner buffet at US$14.99. There are so many selections of food – soup, noodles, meat, seafood, dessert. They also have sushi and hibachi. Food was delicious. However the cups for the soup was not neatly organized instead they were stacked up in a plastic container near where the soups are. I initially thought that they were cups collected to be washed. Staff needs training on good customer service. The staff couldn’t even answer a simple question like how much the buffet is when my sister asked and just ignored her and continued with their conversation. When I asked again, one just pointed on the price written on the message board which was the price for takeout. Luckily the host came back and we finally got an answer. Plates are immediately collected once done so that a new plate can be used when going back to the buffet counter which is good. Some of the clean plates though were not dried properly.

The buffet is ok. I wasn’t blown away. My experience was sort of ruined when a bug flew out of my soup cup… 🙁 Otherwise i had a decent meal. The staff is friendly. This place is just ok.

We love eating at this location every Sunday after church. Even my 2 years old lovely princess enjoys spending time here. They have diverse foods options and very great. After paying your money, not too expensive to be precise, you can eat anything you want and how much you want. Good place for those who eat a lot. Service is great. Place Highly recommended.

Nothing really to write home about but was good and exactly what I was craving. I didn’t mind that the server didn’t say much but she did fill my water twice so I was appreciative. Large selection of food. Mac and cheese was diluted so not great, spare ribs were a bit salty but edible, fried cream cheese wonton had crab in it I think and not noted for folks with allergies, but they were good. General tso could have had a touch more flavor, Veggie lo mein was great. Food was as you’d expect with a buffet I guess. Bill came to 32 for 2 of us. The booth was my biggest issue. I’m not a large person and I literally had to scoot my butt out side ways just to get out. It was very narrow and I felt like I needed a booster seat to sit in it because the seat was low snd table was just a bit too high for it. This was my first time there and it didn’t disappoint.

This was a pretty good find. The only issue we had was not getting drink refills, and the floor was insanely sticky. The food was great though, and it’s bigger than the average buffet.

Waitress was extremely rude telling me my total was the wrong total. She demanded a 15% tip included in total and I reminded her the actual total on the receipt. She was lucky I opened my wallet and gave her my last dollar bill haha, then she proceeded to shake the dollar in the air to her counterpart waitresses and poke fun at the customer. The food was actually good though these waitresses loiter and all they do is give you a soda bottle for a drink, oh yeah they charge extra for the drink too, who’s ever heard of a buffet doing that? I will not be dining her again with my family, they measure your children by height as to what to charge them.

Food here this evening wasn’t up to par as we expected. I visited on Memorial Day & at that time the food and service was great. On this visit though, the service wasn’t pleasant. Our seater didn’t ask each of us for what we wanted to drink and assumed all of us wanted the same thing and immediately said “ok enjoy”… We had to tell her that wasn’t the case and we wanted different… At least she was willing to change it… As for food, hibachi chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through. Most items we’ve seen before aren’t being served much anymore and the selection has become limited again for dinner time. Charged for $60 for 3 people who had eaten one plate each and been there for about 20 minutes to eat… When we were trying to pay & leave, the lady up front literally grabbed my husbands hand to force him to write for a tip when he wanted to give it in cash… made no sense to any of us and it was very rude to grab my husband like that. Most likely will not be coming to visit again.

We’ve been here three times. Don’t do it. We made a mistake the last two times giving the benefit of the doubt. The food is half decent, but the people who work here are (mostly) rude, the prices are higher than other buffets, the bathrooms are dirty, there are dirty plates in with the clean plates, and they charge for children based on height not age. (They have a measuring stick by the door.) Eating here is a gamble.
