Great place. I liked it a lot. Deserts were good, typical of a Chinese buffet BUT they also had ice cream bars. They had crab legs, craw fish, lobster, sushi, octopus, custard buns, steak, and hibachi. Just all kind of food. I came for dinner on the weekend. The menu will probably change for lunch. There is no lunch price on weekends because of the lobster and crab legs all day.

They say they have changed the manager there. This is just a super buffet. I haven’t seen anything like this in a long time, except in Miami. Price $21 On an adult. There is everything!!! High-quality sushi, fish, snow crab legs, crayfish. This is number 1 for me now. I won’t go anywhere else. I hope they will have the same as they have been for a long time now. Chinese buffets have become very empty and spoiled in the USA. And this one is like a rebirth!!!!

My mother and I tried Buffet City this evening. The pricing varies by time of day and day of the week so if you’re tight know weekends are more expensive.
We sat with Tina and the service was great. She was very attentive and cordial, constantly checking in on us and offering drink refills.
The food options are plentiful. There is a large sushi station where sushi chefs are working around the clock to keep the buffet area full. All were fresh except the tempura option which gets soft from sitting out- not a big deal. There is also a seafood area with raw oysters (I was too scared to try), steamed mussels, shrimp, etc. There’s an area of American food (pizza, ribs, etc) as well as areas of your chinese chicken options found at every mall. A hibachi station in back offers food made to order, and finally, soup, salad and desert stations.
We enjoyed our first visit and will be back in due time. All the food was solid and the restaurant was clean and well maintained… and bottled beers were well priced at $3.99.
Definitely worth a try folks.

This buffet really does it for me across all categories. Quality of the food is fantastic. Their sushi is probably the best sushi I’ve ever had at a buffet style restaurant. The rest of their food options are great as well. They even had better ice cream options like ice cream bars and cookies. Our server was very attentive and thoughtful. The place has multiple separate eating areas so even when it’s busy you’re off on your own side of the restaurant so it doesn’t feel busy. Our new favorite buffet in Pinellas.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Buffet City. The food was not fresh at all—most of it was dry, old, and barely edible. We had to constantly wait for empty food bins to be refilled, and when they finally were, the quality was still terrible.
On top of that, the service was just as bad. The waiters never cleared our table, allowing dirty plates to pile up the entire time we were sitting there. It made the whole dining experience uncomfortable and unappealing.
Overall, the food was nasty and the service was unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

go there on a regular & went for thanksgiving. the turkey was sooo good! their salmon, mac & cheese & butter shrimp are all my favorites.

Walked in there and the place was just monotone there was nothing good, and the food was awful, the sushi looks fake. Why was the salmon pink, like bubble gum pink? The food looked like it been there for days or just taken out of the freezer. Non of the food tasted good especially the sushi, and all of it looked artificial. I wouldn’t recommend going here please be careful with buffets.

Usually I don’t write reviews but I have been coming here for months even inviting friends and recommending them to come. Yesterday we came in perfectly fine and had great food. The waiter serving us gave us no mind in her day, didn’t refill drinks, ask how we were or even stop by. When it came to the bill we split with money and card telling her the tip was split. We tipped her $10 total because even though she didn’t give us a good time we still appreciate the resturaunt. She took it, huffed and walked away and brought back the card and receipt so we left. As we were leaving she ran out and grabbed my friend with the card and forced him to tip more. When he said no and gave her $4 plus my 6 in cash she decided to tip herself $20. As much as I love this place too we’ll never be coming here again. Everyone else at this restaurant I just hope this lady gets the karma she deserves.

Recommended and did not disappoint. As you enter, it’s a nice greeting. The reataurant is under new management. The space is bright, clean, and odor free of sewer. There are ample selections for whatever you want. The sushi, cold bar, hot bar, hibachi, and dessert is more.than on pointe. Single serve ice-cream options. Genius!! Even the water is good because evernody knows, Florida has bad water. I think they’ve cleaned everything. Very refreshing. The servers are nice, serving the customers and not standing around chatting.
