Ordered from here twice now for pickup. Food was so good! The boneless wings were crispy and very evenly coated in the BBQ sauce. My mom got the garlic parm wings and also loved them. I love that cornbread is a side option bc i love it haha. The person at the front counter was super sweet, even asked me how to pronounce my name and took the time to learn it. Will def be coming back

Buffalo’s is straight fire. Wednesday is $0.99 wing night. You aren’t getting any wings from dieting chickens. These are some plump boys. Pick some delicious homemade sauces to go with them. Today I got BBQ wings and a 16 piece family meal. Definitely elite level fried chicken here. Some of the chicken was the size of my hand with my fingers spread open. This chicken was so perfectly done that when I went in for my first bite and the chicken was as juicy as a medium rare steak. Unfortunately today they didn’t have mashed potatoes or Mac n cheese. I just got 2 sides of fries because of that. But they are coated fries and are delicious when you take them for a swim in your favorite sauce. You won’t be disappointed in supporting this local restaurant.

For years, I’ve heard legendary things about the wings here. This place is not just an incredible wing joint, the food all around is just A1. They’ve got so many different wing sauces that are impossible to pick from – highly recommend trying the jerk and mango+habanero.
The mashed potatoes brought me back to my childhood Texas days. Deep dark gravy and a thick potato mash that hits the soul. Don’t even bother wondering whether or not you should get the corn bread (get it).
Wonderful people. Incredible food. That’s it!

I’ve passed by Buffalo’s Chicken Shack numerous times and finally tried it one Friday afternoon for takeout, when hubby said he was craving some BBQ. We ordered the half chicken and full slab combo. It comes with a piece of cornbread and two sides. For the sides, we went with the mac and cheese and the corn. The chicken was very smoky (not my cup of tea) and dry (also not my cup of tea). The ribs were okay but I wish all the extra sauce was on the side for dipping instead of having the ribs drenched. The mac and cheese wasn’t bad. The corn was almost inedible. They were just overboiled frozen corn kernels with a ton of artificial-tasting butter. We also ordered the 12-piece wings, which allows you to choose two sauces. We got the lemon pepper and spicy garlic parmesan. The sauces were pretty good but the wings were SO oily. I knew it wasn’t a healthy meal but we felt gross after the meal.
We were always intrigued by the sign outside that advertised 50 cent wings on Wednesdays. (which by the way, they still have the sign outside but when you go inside, there’s another sign that says they are pausing wing night for the time being. Kind of shady). But now that we’ve tried the food, we don’t think we’ll be back for Wing Wednesday. Or any other day.

Absolutely love this place. I come here once a week if i can and always have the best time sitting down alone watching the football games on, or i bring a couple friends. The staff are some of the friendliest people and the food tops it off! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Wings were so good, big and full of flavor
Got the lemon pepper, hot bbq, bourbon and original spicy. They were all SO GOOD. I don’t even like lemon pepper but every flavor was amazing. We got 75 wings and the price was super reasonable considering the quality of the Wings.

This was one of the worst orders I received from them. I always get chicken and waffles from them, which I order through Uber Eats. Ordered the chicken and waffles and cornbread, I received no cornbread. The waffle is cold and looks burnt. Heated up the waffle and it smells burnt. It is not edible. And I received two small pieces of chicken. Whether the store just opened or is almost closing, the best quality food should be given.

When you think of amazing fried chicken, you normally don’t think of Wood-Ridge NJ…..well that’s all changed. Buffalo’s is cooked fresh while you wait with amazing quality chicken, crispy flavorful batter and a variety of sauces.
While we are on sauces they run the full gambit of flavors from sweet, like bourbon to burn your mouth hot with their Misery sauce!!
While they offer a variety of non chicken foods, I’ll be spending my next few times working through the different boneless options.
Highly recommended!!

Unfortunately I can’t speak on the atmosphere too much, but I can speak on the food!
I was so impressed by what I think was called the house special. It has French fries, cheeses, jalapenos and pulled pork bbq. So so good. The wings are breaded but that didn’t take away from how good they are (I prefer a naked wing). Misery sauce is actually spicy, not almost spicy but actually spicy.

Buffalo’s is the best chicken in Woodridge/Hasbrouck Heights. It’s a nice family-owned restaurant that has great food and a homey atmosphere. They’re most famous for their wings which my brother and my father had. Even the boneless end of the spectrum still has dark meat mixed with white meat. The flavors of this chicken made an immaculate meal and a wonderful experience. Also, the service is great and very friendly. You may have to wait a bit for the food but it’s high quality homemade chicken. Overall, 10/10, 5 star, great food, and nice atmosphere.
