BWW GO – Wings On The Go
Reviews
OWNER HAS YET TO REACH OUT AFTER A WEEK, YET COMMENTED ON THIS BUT HASN’T REACHED OUT.
I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to go on Grandview in Waukesha WI expecting a normal meal, but it turned into a horrible experience. The chicken I was served was raw in the middle, which is completely unacceptable and honestly dangerous. It was visibly pink inside, unfortunately I did not notice this until after eating most of it and shortly after eating it, I became extremely sick and ended up with food poisoning.
What made the situation even worse was how the manager handled it. When I brought it to his attention, he was dismissive and told me he didn’t care that I was sick and that it wasn’t his problem. He even tried to argue with me and said that raw chicken isn’t pink, which was shocking and frustrating considering what I was clearly looking at.
He flat out said he didn’t care if I got sick and that the chicken was raw. He flat out told me that “He didn’t care if we went to the hospital”. As well as not just being rude and hanging up, he told me it was my fault I got sick. That they need to undercook them because they’d burn when I make them. Which I ordered cooked food, not raw. That is unacceptable. The USDA Food and Safety will be contacted, as well as the Food and Safety for Waukesha, Wisconsin specificity. I will be exploring every possible action against the manger and this location to get this resolved, because that is not how you treat a customer. As well as your in food safety, you need to care and be safe. I am completely frustrated and disappointed in such a large brand having a catastrophic failure like this. The manager couldnt get his name (Auash or something like that, he wouldn’t clarify. He wasn’t letting me speak and was yelling at me and blaming me. This is completely unacceptable, and mentioned that I will be taking any action to get this resolved. If it comes down to legal action I will take that route if need be, but I was hoping to save everyone some time and money. However the manger at this location seems to view legal as the solution to this issue because he didn’t do a thing, not even an apology or sorry. I called the location on sunset in Waukesha Wisconsin to get an idea of what to do. And even though it wasn’t her or their store fault was able to apologize and be helpful. This location needs to first off be investigated then trained.
Manager is flat out rude and hangs up on customers with a complaint. He should not be a manager, and especially of in a customer service position. Completely unprofessional and not who should be a leader of anyone.
I was never acknowledged at any point even though others customers after me were. After 30 min of waiting I was finally able to get their attention and noted who and what order I had been waiting for; no verbal acknowledgement yet again, just a head nod.
I don’t know if they were understaffed with only two workers but as some who has had a career in the food industry, I was not impressed. The fryer oil needed cleaning, and the hoods didn’t even seem to be turned on due to the thick fryer haze in the air the entire time I was there. I walked out smelling like a greasy fired gross mess.
I ended up being 30 min late to the party. Overall, the food was just OK and several of us thought the wings were slightly over cook/dry and warm at best for a min 5 car ride.
The one nice thing was that one of the gentlemen walked the order to my car for me.
I won’t order from here again, rather I’d drive the extra distance to the Sunset location or try somewhere else altogether. We’ve never had this much of an issue and this was our 4th annual wing party.
When I got my order, there was none only the 1 I paid for. They claimed ranch is not included with any of their wing orders. I ended up paying 4 extra dollars for stupid ranch so my kids could all have 1oz of ranch with their wings. My advice….order online or they literally RIP YOU OFF!! I have never had that happen at any other location other that this one!
The 2 guys in there are very slow, only talks amongst them selfs,
They need someone there who can multitask in a busy atmosphere
