Five stars for Marissa. She worked the bar and the dining room before and during Game 3. She was smiling welcoming friendly. And she was everything you want in a server….when the food and drink were disappointing abd desperately needed redos…Marissa was gracious and took ownership of the kitchens misfires…our double portion of chicken wings arrived cold, the coating was hard, as if two days old….these wings were not made to order….they were leftovers or had been premade, the boneless chicken were tough and stringy….wow, this was our first time to the Buffalo franchise, and the buffalo wings were so sad….it made us sad. Marisa stopped by our table and I told her about the condition of the wings, she volunteered took the tray and got us freshly made wings. My drink was a Diet pepsi but it was super syrupy sweet and lacked carbonation….it tasted like regular apepsi, not diet….Marisa went to the bar and brought back a second glass and she checked in to see if it was better, it was. We wanted to flee but Marisa was so nice, we decided to try the cheesecake, so we stayed for the first three innings and enjoyed our cake. I tried to order coffee, but there’s no coffee on the menu. My poor mom needed to eat dinner, so we left in the middle of the game, Marisa was the reason we stayed to enjoy the fabulous sports bar ambiance. This place is a terrific place to watch sports, and drink….but their signature wings need more lobe and care from the kitchen. The patrons were not rowdy, they were well behaved. It seemed like a safe place to watch.

I recently visited the Buffalo Wild Wings in Monterey Park to catch the early start of UFC 321: Aspinall vs. Gane. I was very pleasantly surprised that they were open early, starting at 11 am, to accommodate the Abu Dhabi card’s early fight times. I was seated immediately in the clean and comfortable seating area, ready for the action.
My server, Andy, took great care of me throughout the event, offering attentive and prompt service. I ordered a beer and the sampler platter to start.
The sampler items were fantastic:
The onion rings were nicely seasoned.
The pretzel bites were perfectly salty and soft.
The chicken tenders were savory, juicy, and tasted fresh.
Ironically, the wings themselves needed the most attention. The flavor profiles were good, but they significantly lacked enough meat on the bone. On a couple of the wings, the meat was gone literally after one bite. They were also a bit overcooked, which resulted in a slightly dry texture.
Everything else—the atmosphere, the service, the appetizers, and the overall setup for watching the fights—was excellent. I will absolutely give them another chance in hopes that the wings receive a little makeover soon, as they are almost there, but not quite.
I definitely recommend this location for the atmosphere and service, especially for fight fans.

Food was good, but the service was absolutely trash. I was seated and waited over 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. Employees were on their phones and even after making eye contact, no one came over. I finally had to get up, walk to the back, and ask someone to serve me before I got any help. Completely unacceptable experience. I won’t be returning for the service – maybe the food.

So far, the curry sauce has been the best flavor.
BBQ Bourbon has a nice sweet flavor.
Delicious food.
Of the burgers, I highly recommend the mushroom Swiss.
Average bar food prices.
Takeout service workers tend to be bad to okay.
They charge extra for to-go orders…
I love the celery and baby carrots.
Friends and I went when they weren’t busy.
Decent wait service.
Quick food turn around because it was nearly empty during our lunch visit 🙂

Although it was a dodger game super busy we managed to get two seats at the bar. Maritza and Alex were so quick to make sure we had our drinks our food and as well attended to the rest of the bar thank you Maritza for making great drinks. All buffalo wild wings tend to get busy. I believe we all just need to have a little more patience with everyone that works here.

I came here alone and had to wait almost 20 minutes just to place my order, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. When I asked one of the waitresses for help, she told me another server would take my order — and then I had to wait even longer.
After finally ordering, my food took forever to come out. In total, I wasted about an hour and a half just to eat a meal that took me 20 minutes to finish. The service felt careless and unorganized.
I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Definitely not coming back.

I went with my 21 year old son to watch the Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs. It had just opened and within 1 hour the bartender got slammed, not because of something he didn’t do. They dont have bar backs to assist the bartender nor did I see any runners helping the bartender. The bartender stayed focus and did what any bartender could do, one customer a time. Excellent service i would definitely recommend this Buffalo wild wings.

Usually large chainsare consistent in their appearance, customer service and food to keep their reputation going. This location has friendly staff and the app made ordering easy. The location is in a new shopping complex close to home for me so I was excited to go. Parking is readily available although I could see how it could fill up on a busy day. The app said my food would be available in 44 minutes at about 8:40PM. I arrived 10 minutes early to see it sitting on a to go order rack. After arriving home, my family dug into the food. Fries were tasty and well seasoned. Wings on the other hand were overcooked and dry. One piece was challenging to cut with a knife. Sauces were good albeit a little strong for my pallet but the rating is primarily for the wings just not being good. I may go back just to confirm my rating. However, I think I will stick to either Island’s or Foodland when I am in Hawaii. Restaurant business is tough and based on other feedback they should look at their personnel training and food prep protocols to make sure things are consistent and represent the brand.

In writing this review with mixed feelings and a heavy heart. I have no problem with the quality and service of my food, the wings are great and consistent every time I order but the portion of the fries the last few purchases have been disappointing and depressing. October 19, 2024 at around 8:31 pm I come in to pick up my online order and the first thing I notice is the small serving of fries, I ask the cashier lady if this is really the best she can do and she said, I understand it’s not her decision or fault but cmon. I don’t know if this is shrinkflation, the stores decision, or on a more corporate level to serve that little fries but this is extremely disappointing.. at least put them in a smaller box so I don’t see the huge emptiness of fries that could of been. I just had to speak up.

What a disappointment this Monterey park location was… we’ve been to other locales that were welcoming, inviting, and professional. This place seemed like it was run by high school drop outs. No jovial greeting, no smiles. They seemed to forget they work for tips. The bartender, without a smile, asked what I wanted. A small taste of the featured beer please, i asked with a smile. She poured me a taste, dropped it on the bar then promptly walked away. She was not busy, just not a very personable bar tender. Didn’t wait to see if i wanted to get a full one or not, or even what I thought.
Not a manager to be found. The place felt more like a neighborhood dive bar than a corporate chain restaurant with high expectations. I’m sure the owner is there very infrequently.
The one shining light was our server Diane. She walked up with a great smile, introduced herself and was a professional through and through. She knew the menu and the specials. She was a delight the entire night. She has an infectious laugh and was spot on even while the kitchen lagged. She deserves a raise. The food was good, but with that crew, besides Diane, I doubt we’ll be going back.
