Reviews
I have been to several Buffalo Wild Wings location in my life, and this location was by far the slowest one I have been to in terms of the service, just to get my water, it took 15 minutes, in that time. at the Fort Collins location, I could have gotten both the water and my meal. The staff also seemed generally preoccupied, and just took their sweet time cleaning tables. It also took me 30 minutes to get my Chicken Sandwich and Fries.
Despite this main complaint that tainted my experience, the overall atmosphere was great, as it had the usual feel of a sports bar, with a television on every corner playing ESPN, FS1, NBC Golf, CBS Sports Network, or NFL/MLB Network, with jerseys and Memorabilia from local Denver-area teams. The food was also great, with the price also being affordable for somebody who is on a budget for almost everything. For $10, I got a great chicken sandwich and fries that while simplistic, certainly was better than one from Chick-Fil-A or KFC that would have been more intricate, and of a more subpar quality to consume. Additionally, they gave me free refills, one great way to redeem for horrible service.
Overall, I enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings, but the service and the long waiting times really ruined the great food that this place had. I will eat somewhere else next time I am in the area.
Also the person at the front getting the food out is not friendly at all
Negatives: My wife was already halfway finished with her meal by the time my bacon cheeseburger came out. Dan, our waiter, seemed very put out to be serving us, which may be why we didn’t see him again until we left. We never got a refill on our drinks, sodas. My burger was SO greasy that not only was it dripping grease, but the meat kept falling out of the bun in globs that I had to restack twice. In my life, I’ve not finished a cheeseburger twice; last month in a school cafeteria, and tonight. I do stand corrected that we didn’t see Dan again until we left. My wife flashed him down as we spent the first 15 minutes of the meal without napkins. Upon finishing our meal, we waited another 25 minutes before we got up and attempted to pay at the front. The register didn’t have the ability to ring us up, so he went to get his manager. No manager, but Dan appeared out of nowhere to finally ring us up, but had to go to the drink station to do so.
In putting this to words, it doesn’t really do justice to our experience. One of the two worst dining experiences of my life, beating out even food poisoning. I may never eat at another B-Dubs again, and this chain used to be my favorite. I gave $0 tip for the first time in my life, and I still feel ripped off.
I told the bartender I didn’t want to pay for my margarita since it took over 30 minutes for me to get a drink, (he was a really nice guy) but he grabbed his manager who apparently didn’t believe me that I was waiting that long and went back to check the cameras I’m guessing, and after another seven minutes came out and gave me a coupon for Free six boneless wings instead of just comping my margarita. Manager didn’t seem like he cared at all, so I decided to leave a bad review which I rarely do.
As someone who works in the service industry, this was extremely annoying. Y’all need to do better!
Also, I ordered a side of fries and your kitchen put an absurd amount of seasoning on those. And I was not given any napkins. Thanks.
