Tried the 3 meat sampler. Everything was damn good. They smoke with dry rub so you get the most flavor out of your meat. Rick’s also has signature blend sauces. Sweet heat was my favorite. It wasn’t too hot and wasn’t too sweet. Even the potatoe salad was fresh and good.
Restrooms were clean. The whole atmosphere of the place was what anyone might expect. The staff was nice and offered recommendations. That was great for someone like me who didn’t know what to choose. So a big thanks to Rick, the staff and great food.

I have read the reviews and heard what people say. That negative stuff was not what we experienced. I have eaten there twice in the last two days. Ms. JJ did a great job. We saw everyone helping everyone. We got the right attention and everything. I ordered ribs the first night, and they were excellent. They were so tender and juicy, just falling off the bone. The second night I got nacho supreme, the only concern was I didn’t find them spicy enough but we’re excellent. Both nights our food was out in front of us before starting my second beer. Everything was hot and everything tasted great. The price was perfect for the amount of food. The portions were huge. I will be back next time I come through here.

Nebraska IPA on tap and the nachos are great. Fletcher the bartender is great. My glass never went empty and he was alway in a positive mood. I recommend this steakhouse to everyone. Thx buffalo point for an excellent experience.

Ate here on Saturday 28 September 2019. We had to seat ourselves in the bar as the restaurant side was closed. Waited for menus. Finally ordered beverages and our dinners. We both got the House Special steaks. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food. The steak and baked potato was good. The green beans were ice cold. We told the waitress but no attempt was made to get us hot green beans. The food is a bit pricey, so I expect good service. We will not eat here again.

Poor service, poor management, and even worse food. Took my family here for my daughter’s birthday. Soup was cold. Steak was sent back three times and still wasn’t served correct. Manager never even spoke to us about the mess. Soda was flat. Good dumped on the floor and never offered to replace it. Drinks never refilled til end of our meal. The cups stayed empty our entire meal. Very dissatisfied to say the very least.

One never knows what kind of visit it’s going to be at this place. Sometimes, it’s fine, and generally the food isn’t great but okay. It’s way overpriced but it’s decent. Sometimes it’s the worst dining experience you’ve had in years. Tonight we came for our son’s birthday and the whole thing was horrible. It took half an hour to even order and another 1.5 hours to get our food. We couldn’t get refills or silverware and when a mistake was made on our order, they charged us the price of the mistaken dish instead of what we ordered. And no, it wasn’t very busy and we didn’t have a huge group. The waitress tried and was nice, but I am pretty upset that my son had to have an experience like that for his birthday. And this isn’t the first time we’ve had that bad an experience. We keep going back after six months or so after a meal like this one and it’s about 50/50 if it’s going to happen again the very next time. I would not recommend this place to anyone and especially not for a special occasion.

Stopped for lunch on our way thru town. Our experience was great! We were greeted right away, served drinks right away and our food was brought to us in under 20 minutes. The French dip was amazing and the chicken strips and fries were delicious as well.. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often.. We were told about this place from a few friends who have stopped and told us to give it a try! So glad we did. We will for sure stop again.

I’m really in the middle here. I went for lunch and had the jalapeño burger with some sweet potato fries and honestly it was delicious. Beyond delicious, the peppers were very spicy, I was in love. The same day I went to have dinner and a few beers. The service was almost non existent after my first drink. I finally ordered some wings and they came out pretty quick. They were delicious, sweet, tangy and spicy all at the same glorious time. But as I bit down into them they were ice cold in the middle. Beer selection was great. Place needs some improvement for sure, but they are heading in the right direction.

Ugh…. stopped last year with good results. This time not good at all. Slow service at the bar, thankful a waitress pinch hit to help. Most disappointing .. the food. French dip prime rib was dried out and flavorless, chicken mushroom and swiss had so much seasoning salt you couldn’t eat it. No chance to send back as the bartender never asked, even after the plate in the picture sat for 15 minutes. Mixed drinks, weak and pricey $7. We won’t try again.

All told took us 2.5 hours fir dinner. Walked in at 630 and left at 9. It was rough. And not the first time. But again I no longer go to buffalo point unless I have time to waste. I’ll pay more, but if i want a steak and don’t mind running across town i’ll hit up Dudes. Better food better service. Higher price.
