I’m going to keep it REAL as I only want to see Caribbean restaurants in Buffalo do better. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Dinner, price was fairly decent $18 and as you can see the portions are good. The cabbage and plantains were good. But I was super disappointed because the Jerk Chicken was dry. It was just a bunch of bbq sauce on it. Chef’s please don’t be scared to throw that on the grill and give it that kick. Also, the rice was another disappointment. It didn’t have any flavor and it was mushy.
I really want to see you guys do well. Please work on the chicken and the rice. Give it that true Jamaican Spice and Flavor. Don’t cheat jerk chicken by adding a bunch of bbq sauce on it. You guys definitely have potential and I want to see you win.

Please come try this new Jamaican spot . Food is wonderful, owner is very friendly and kind . Well worth a try and some fresh coco bread Jamaican Patty’s . Some of the reviews are very old , this is a brand new owner and name . Please stop by . Don’t believe me check these photos out .

Decided to try this restaurant , met someone last week and they were raving about the food here. My husband and I decided to stop in today about 11:30a there were no customers. We decided to get the lunch special which consisted of very generous portions of curry chicken, rice with peas, cabbage , plantain (3) and a beverage or bottled water . When I tell you guys that was the most flavorful perfectly seasoned meal I’ve had , and I’m a true foodie and very picky. It was a winner 10/10. The staff (2) men were very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely be returning in the very near future !!!! Do yourself a favor and hit them up you will not be disappointed !!! Sorry no pics to show this time , demolished our food without thinking to take pics. Will submit pics next visit !

It has a new owner, and the place is updated. The name has been updated to Buffalo Pizza & Island Food. They have Jamaican food so good. I tried their curry chicken and curry goat, and let me tell you the meat was falling off the bone. Loved their steamed vegetables too.

Unfortunately Oxtails were not to my liking, seemed over cooked not flavorful. Plantine and sweet potatoes were dry.
Maybe other options will be better.

Honestly the food was good. I got jerk chicken with rice and peas canbage and plantains. The chicken was bbq jerk..however it was well seasoned. Rice was good canbage was good. My only complaint would be my chicken was overcooked slightly and my food was more so warm. I’d try again.
