This is a cute, welcoming spot just a short walk from Union Station. They have indoor and outdoor seating and an ordering kiosk, or you can order at the counter. The staff was very friendly. Prices are reasonable and there are lots of interesting food and drink choices on the menu. We had a hard time deciding. The knish was really good. The bagels were delicious! The Rude Girl sandwich on a bagel with jalapeño cream cheese was good, but the bacon was dry and overcooked, and there was a lot of it, so I had to pull some of it off. The pineapple cardamom soda was not fizzy, nor did it taste of cardamom, so I don’t think it was made right. The lavender taro tea was outstanding, we ordered it on both of our visits. The Original sandwich on a bagel with Gravlax was delicious and so big we had to take half of it home. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and came back a second time during our stay in DC.

Love this place! Good service, delicious sandwiches yumm!

The original with bourbon brown sugar gravlax. Best bagel lox and cream cheese sandwich I ever had!
My husband had the gold rush burrito and was happy with his choice.

We will definitely make this our go to spot when we’re in the area!

I feel so lucky to have found this place! I was looking for breakfast and a drink (teacher on spring break ) during a Tuesday morning train layover. I could order both at a kiosk which made it so quick. The service is so nice and the music is great while you wait. The bagels are to die for. Check out the actual veggies in the veggie cream cheese. I’ll be referring this place to all DC natives from now on.

Best bagels around! MANY options to choose from whether it be spreads, bagels, bagel sandwiches, and other items such as latkes. They also have well stocked bar serving up tasty alcoholic (and non) drinks! Can’t recommend this place enough for breakfast and/or lunch! You can also eat in at their bar counter.

Cute local cafe.

I ordered the breakfast burrito with brisket. Very close to texas style. It was really good and filling. The price is pretty good for DC.

I also had the lavender taro tea which was good but my friend thought it was too sweet.

It also gives a cute diner vibe with bright sky blue colors. It is a casual brunch place to come with friends or s.o.

I walked from the station which is pretty close. Not too bad of a walk

I highly recommend it.

Cute little Restaurant! They have ordering kiosks to make it easier to order and customize your bagel! My bagel was quite delicious! The overall restaurant had a fun aesthetic! They also had seating indoors and outdoors! Me and my party found a nice spot outdoors! We all sat underneath umbrellas, listening to some good music coming from the store. That being said it was very busy. If you’re looking for a fun little bagel shop, you should stop in.

Just a super cute place for a wide variety of sandwiches (bagels! knishes! three kinds of lox!!) burritos, Mexican-ish platos, pupusas and more, close to Union Station and the Capitol. Friendly, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Highest recommendation for this kind of place.

Great bagels, and they play cool music, but we had to wait over 30 minutes to get 2 bagels with cream cheese. The self order kiosk isn’t great either. I’m at a restaurant for a reason… if I need to place my own order to the kitchen, get my own beverage (which you do), and bus my own table, what am I tipping 30% for? Anyway, 4 stars because the bagels were really good.

This was my first time here, and I only ordered coffee, but I definitely want to come back to try the bagels. As a native NYer, I am on the hunt for a decent bagel (8 years and counting and have not found a single one in DC).

The coffee was good and the price was a little bit less than what you’d expect in DC, which is great. Comparable to Sbucks.

But I LOVED the atmosphere. The coffee counter / bar was so cute and the bartender and all staff were extremely friendly. There were patrons who I assumed were regulars because they knew the bartender’s name.

Great local spot in NoMa / Capitol Hill area for those who live nearby. Tourists may find it nice, but it is a very small space. I wish it were larger, but maybe its quaint size is what makes it so charming.

My husband and I recently visited Buffalo & Bergen and had an incredible experience. Despite arriving close to closing, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, ensuring we didn’t feel rushed. The cozy ambiance added to the charm of the place. Their knishes were fantastic—flavorful, crispy, and tender. The attentive and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to go back soon for another delightful dining experience.
