I was a little skeptical because I usually don’t get Dominican food at 830 at night. But when I walked in there, everything still looked fresh. And he had my favorite rice, not a lot of bodegas, served that type of rice and he had it. And he gave me a generous amount of it. It’s like he knew that was my favorite rice. When I go into bodegas to get food, I have some pork with it. And some beans, it was good, very satisfying. It wasn’t too salty. It was season, just right.. that man was very polite. He looked like he was the owner. He had a handsome little son and the vibe in there was. Welcoming to anybody, I just moved out here to Medford. 6 months ago, and I’m not familiar. And I’m still not familiar with too many places out here. So Google is my best friend, and his Bodega was the first one that pulled up on my Google. I read his reviews, and I said, I’m gonna take a chance. If I get there and I don’t see anything I like I just won’t get it. But the first thing I saw was that Black Rice with all of that delicious meat, a variety of different meats in that rice. I said I found my new happy place.
And is reasonable. I’m gonna go during the day 1 day and try his empanadas. I also heard those was good and I love me a good empanada. I make them myself. But he definitely deserved a 5 star.

I would really give the a 0 but instead of a 1 garbage rude girl working there had a nasty look first time there got something for my wife because to try but also she said she has no change for a 100 dollar bill look at me like I had 10 heads and advised to go ask for change some where els then I guess come back to buy my food nasty no people skills does not greet customers I’ll never go there again and to top it off no gloves scratching her head dealing with food crazy

Service could be faster and friendlier but the food is pretty on point! The empanadas are all pretty good. The yuca bollo is surprisingly delish! The yuca and chicharon was pretty good as well!
