We came in about 2pm on a Tuesday so definetly a slower time for most restaraunts. It is very confusing when you walk in because they serve pizza and pho; 2 seperate menus. The lady who greeted us seemed annoyed we were confused and just pointed to the menus on the wall. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My brisket pho had a minimal amount of meat and the broth has a weak flavor. My husband had the chicken pho and it had only 1 small chicken leg in it. The basil was wilted and soggy. It was all very underwhelming and odd. For a $15 bowl of pho I was hoping for better.

Buena Pho is the best!!! It’s my go-to restaurant in BV and my favorite spot to eat in town. It’s a family-owned operation, and it’s authentic Vietnamese food — right in the middle of a pizzeria, in the middle of a small CO mountain town, no less! All the food is top-notch, the service is great and the staff are very friendly.
Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines and this is the best I’ve had in CO. The pho — both the meat and vegan option — is amazing, with hot, delicious, flavorful and savory broth and served with fresh lime, basil, scallions, jalapeños, red onion, rice noodles and bean sprouts (I recommend topping with hoisin sauce and sriracha). The thinly sliced meat in the soup is cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous.
The crispy fried egg rolls are also delectable and taste fresh — filled with pork and shrimp, served with savory fish sauce and on a bed of lettuce with pickled carrots and daikon.
The vermicelli noodle bowl (Bún thịt nướng)
is yummy and feels light, healthy, and like a good warm-weather meal, with a rice vineagary flavor, pickled carrots, pickled daikon, cucumber, cilantro, fish sauce, grilled pork, crispy spring rolls, and lettuce.
For lunch at buena pho, my go-to is always the bánh mì — served on the BEST crispy baguette rolls, filled with pork grilled perfectly, creamy mayo made in-house, rice vinegar, jalapeños, pickled carrot, pickled daikon, cucumber, and cilantro. Best banh mi on this side of the Mississippi!
Also the owner of the restaurant is really hot.

Wow wow wow!!! I got takeout tonight and I cannot believe I’ve been sleeping on Buena Pho’s vegan options – I had their schedule mixed up and thought they were only open during the week and I only get takeout on weekends, but it’s offered every day they are open!! The vegan pho and fresh vegan spring rolls with peanut sauce were incredible, the flavors amazing! Will be getting this on repeat very regularly! Thank you for having amazing plant-based options – both pho and pizza!!

Happy Mother’s Day to a great cook. The owner’s mom (first generation Vietnamese) makes an incredible pho, so you’d better come by for some amazing soup that’ll warm your heart and body. If you manage to have any room left, try the homemade egg rolls too.

I had higher expectations. You place your order at the counter and then go sit down. They ask for a tip before you even sit down. I tipped 20%,, and service was terrible, so consider not tipping since they don’t really do anything. The relative of the waitress showed up and was mean mugging everyone. Food was mid, tiniest egg rolls I have ever seen.

We had to call to see where this was located since we pulled up and only saw “Elkhorn Pizzeria”. Im not sure why have 2 separate Google listings? Regardless, the food was really good and it all seemed made from scratch. We ordered the garlic pizza bread and Pho and both were really good. I didnt mind the little wait time as I said, it all seemed made from scratch. We did get to see the pizzas made in front of us and that was pretty nifty! If you want pre-made and quick in and out food then this isnt the place for you. This is a family business that makes food the right way -so patience is key here. So if youre into that then 100% support this family business!

The location was hard to find, and the service was slow. We waited 20 minutes for egg rolls, only to find a hair in them. Then, we waited another 20 minutes for spring rolls, pho, and pizza. The pizza and egg rolls were good, but after an hour, our bahn bao still hadn’t arrived. When we asked, the server said it takes 20 minutes to cook, despite us being there over an hour. The long wait and poor service were a big letdown.
