The food was absolute fire and cooked to perfection, you can tell there is a lot of heart and soul out into the recipes and cooking techniques. This restaurant is also authentic, their displays of El Salvadorian culture, as well as Mexican culture is beautiful. I ordered the cheese and bean, and revueltas pupusas. With it, you get salsa and curtido. I’ll certainly be back to maybe dine in, but definitely to take out. Beware that there are no bathrooms in this establishment.

I’m so happy that Buena Fe is in my area! I know this will be our go-to spot because I absolutely love Mexican food.

On a Sunday night, we ordered takeout, and it was fantastic. You have to try the chips—they’re wonderfully crispy and flavorful, and the salsa and guacamole are great. Don’t skip the guacamole! My only complaint is that I wish there had been more of it. 🙂

The enchiladas are delicious. We ordered the steak with red and green sauces, and they came with beans and rice, both of which were amazing. We ate every last bite!

We decided to try a pupusa, even though we’ve only had one in Miami, so we’re not too familiar with them. The Buena Fe pupusa (cheese and loroco) was great, though it wasn’t quite what we expected. I’d definitely try it again next time.

Looking forward to more Mexican food in the future!

Read edit! The food is great. Unfortunately the woman working there is too busy on her phone to pay attention to what she’s doing, so I now have salsa spilled all over me and my car because she threw them in the bag upside down.

Edit to add: food is SO burnt today. So disappointed. It’s trash.

EDIT: tried one more time. Gave my kid beans when I asked for rice only. Go anywhere else.

Very good food, so I see why one notices take out deliveries the whole time you’re dining in. Great tacos and quesadillas.(Those seem to get prioritized, so there can be a long wait, though.) Wonderful chips and salsa, while you’re waiting for your order. Nice that you can have a beer with your food, which was an unexpected bonus. The atmosphere could use some tweaking. Turn the music and lights down a bit and it would be much more pleasant to eat there. It’s clean, which is great. Roomy vestibule, so you have both a good place to wait for take out and a frigid breeze preventer for the nearby dining tables
Very friendly staff, so they should all get raises!

Have tried several items from the menu, enjoyed everything so far but the burritos are especially good. The diner is warm and comfortable, has large booths; good service. Good experience overall and will be back. Thanks!

We have been here several times and the food is consistently delicious!! This time we did carry out (apologies for the pic, I just dump everything on my pupusas) and obviously there was no difference in quality.

Our go to are the pupusas. They are SO good and cheesy. The carry out order came with a bag of curtido which I appreciate so much because I could honestly eat a bucket of it!

Inside is always clean with plenty of seating and the staff is so friendly. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. You will not leave here hungry!

Buena Fe is a real hidden treasure that you should check out just for the fantastic dining experience it offers. I must admit that the decor and plating of the food is a bit old-fashioned and could benefit from some updates to draw in more customers.

Nevertheless, the cuisine at Buena Fe is delightful and bursting with rich flavors. Their dishes consistently feature fresh ingredients and genuine spices that whisk you away to Latin America with each mouthful. Our top favourite dish’s are the Salvadoran Pollo a la Plancha and the Sopa de Pollo. Both were generous portions and cooked perfectly. We are excited to come back and try more of the menu.

My partner and I tried a corn and a flour pupusa, enchiladas with red sauce, and flautas. So good! The flautas were perfectly crispy without being greasy at all. The PUPUSAS?! I’m not sure which one, maybe the corn? That boy changed my life. It was incredible. The slaw paired with the pupusas was really yummy and bright.

Got in right at opening but already there was an occupied table.
The decor could use a bit of “freshening up”: some dirty spots on the wall, some worn through paint, the carpet needs a good cleaning, you can definitely see the traffic patterns. And the restroom floor was sticky.
The service was quick & accommodating, answering my questions quickly & politely. But by the time I left, an hour later, waited several minutes at the counter to pay the bill.
Even though they serve Salvadoran food (pupusas!) in addition to Mexican standards, I was in an enchilada mood, so, pollo enchiladas with salsa verde.
The chips and salsa tasted fresh but the chips seemed a little over-done.
When my entree arrived – which took close to 30 minutes – I found everything bland. What flavors that were present were good but just hiding in the background. The rice, the beans, the chicken, all weak even after getting hold of the spicier salsa.
Music was nicely in the background, not interfering with conversations.
All that said, I wouldn’t not return but it would not be my first choice.
Spent $13.25, tax included.

Incredibly nice people. The pupusas are excellent. I highly recommend the squash & cheese version.

With each new visit, the food continues to get better. The “Holy Moly Guacamole” is outrageously tasty.
