But Great food will make a Great day.
This is an amazing authentic Mexican dining experience.
The Menudo made fresh and only offered on weekends is a special bowl filled of goodness and tasteful delicious bites all the way to the bottom of the huge bowl served with cilantro and onions with a lime and tortillas.
The Huevos Rancheros has a delightful taste with its home made red sauce.
All ingredients are made from scratch all the way down to the refreshing Horchata. Made fresh with natural ingredients makes a Great restaurant!
I am excited to come for dinner to taste the fresh sizzling fajitas we saw pass us by as well as the fresh homemade chili rellenos.
Home made like your grandma made …can’t beat the words fresh ingredients and Home made.
Sisters who decided to open this restaurant 4 years ago had an amazing idea with their Grandma’s ingredients to bring to life.
I hope everyone comes to see what true authentic Mexican dining experience is all about!
We bought our two teenage boys back Saturday night to eat. They loved it too.
Now, I will send a word of caution, they are understaffed and a bit slow to fill your drinks, get your chips refilled but they make up for it in being so nice and the food is really amazing. That is the only thing keeping it from a 5 star. You just have to be patient and not be in a hurry. We said next time we’re taking some cards! LOL
I had the Woodall Enchiladas, very good. Wife had the fajitas, boys had chicken chori and something with chicken and rice. They both liked their meal.
We also had the strawberry nachos, wow very good. Highly recommended.
This was like dining at a Mexican friend’s home with their family.
Where they cook, season and serve their food as has been family’s style and tradition for generations. What would happen first, well first right after the beers start flowing….make fresh guacamole, of course! We could here the food processor in the kitchen. Out from the kitchen came chips, very good salsa and some of the best, fresh, home style guacamole I have ever had. Great start to a meal. Quickly behind that came the hot salsa I requested. The green and the orangish colored habanero salsas were as fresh as the guacamole. They were amazing!
My wife went with a combo meal of a cheese relleno, chicken enchilada with beans and rice. The relleno was a fresh poblano, stuffed with cheese, lightly battered, fried and covered with a reasonable amount of queso, as to not hide the delicious flavor of the fresh poblano. The guacamole, relleno and salsas impressed my wife. I spotted a picture of the taco plate (three crunchy tacos) with beans and rice. Very Good! Just like the guacamole and the salsas, the meals tasted extraordinarily fresh and delicious. Combine the food, with the comfortable dining environment and the friendly service and it was like eating a friend’s house.
If you are familiar with the area, this used to be the Wheel House restaurant. It is little building on the north side of Hwy 62, a few miles south of Tahlequah. It is easy to miss, so watch closely. The owner said they had been in business for 2 years. It is a family business that is not associated with other OK Mexican restaurant chains. I am surprised there are so few reviews.
The owner bragged on her other menu items, especially the desserts and soups, like sopaipillas, flan, pozole and menudo. Menudo! sorry, MeNoDo menudo, but I’d love to try the sopaipillas!
Great meal and wonderful dining experience!
