I’m sure this has happened to you — you’ve been driving by a place for YEARS, never stopping in. Never. And, then, one day, you say, “Hey, what IS this place?”
Well, that’s us and Bud’s on 7th Street Road/Dixie Hwy (whatever you wanna call it).
When we pulled up, there was a guy in the parking lot picking up gum wrappers, pieces of paper, the regular kind of incidental trash that most businesses just let the wind take care of. Hmm — this place must be serious about lookin’ good, we thought. AND we were right.
The moment we walked in, we could’ve sworn that it had 24/7 maid service it was so clean and tidy. AND FRIENDLY, too. The wait staff were so prompt and kind and took time to explain what was on the menu that was worth considering.
We chose the fish fingers and the wings and in the two seconds it took us to take a lick, we were sold.
The lemon-pepper wings for one thing were (er, ARE) the best I’ve ever had (and I’m a bit of a wing snob). The fish fingers were fresh, so were the fries.
But, you should know that in a day and time when restaurants are jacking up prices (because they can), Bud’s is happy to play fair and not gouge anyone.
We haven’t done the Friday Fish Fry thing, but I have a feeling that we may have to bring a cot ’cause if it’s as good as everything else we tried is, we’re in for the time of our lives.

Great hole in the wall. We passed by this many times because the curb appeal is a little offputting, but the guys at Byerly Ford told us the food was great. Once your inside it’s a welcoming clean pub with super nice staff and great bar food.

Staff, always very nice and friendly. The speed of service is great. Not the mention, the food, is delicious.
Today, the smoked wings were 100% fantastic!
The ribs, couldve had more flavor. Overall, very flavorless. Having to rely/depend on the sauce, wasnt enough. The bite with sauce, starts off wet, but finishes flavorless and dry.
Sides, good portion and pretty decent.

Ordered grouper fingers and was a little disappointed in the size. They were good, but I wish they were a little bigger. This isn’t my first time ordering grouper fingers, last time they were huge and fluffy. They’re really inconsistent with the grouper

Food and service was very good and food was reasonably priced. I would recommend them for someone looking for good food with variety for different tastes. We both had the fish sandwich and fries but they had other food such as meatloaf and hamburger. The fish sandwich was bigger than shown as my wife broke off a pretty good chunk before putting it on the bread.
