This was our first time visiting and we’ll definitely be back!
We’ve driven by many times, and heard great things about Bud’s Tavern! We went driving by and decided to stop in to check it out.
I would say Bud’s Tavern is a local bar along the lines of a biker bar – but think friendly bikers, where the locals go to hang out. There inside seating, with pool tables, patio seating, and outdoor seating. They have a large fire pit and a stage. Definitely a place to kick back, enjoy a few beverages, and great company.
Tonight my wife and I got cheeseburgers and fries. The cheeseburgers were delicious, some of the best we’ve had. The fries were nicely cooked and tasty.
Can’t wait to go back!

Great, local, veteran-owned watering hole offering up great bar food, reasonable priced drinks and live music. Great atmosphere inside, with seating and gathering areas out on the dek. There are a few pool tables provided, and there is a pool league that plays here.
I’ve only ever had the cheeseburger, but pretty much all of the food looks good…and the cheeseburger is OUTSTANDING!!
The owner is a proud veteran who has an area dedicated to military service and pride. He is always do SO MUCH to give back to the community. This place deserves all the business and support you can give.

This is a I LOVE thus Bar kind of place. It’s in the woods, people are friendly, staff is amazing and the drinks are cold. Not a huge selection of beer but it’s enough if that makes sense and the food is phenomenal and they run specials. $1 wings Monday, 1.25 taco Tuesday, 1/2 price Burger Wed etc plus they have darts, pool tables and a huge outdoor hang out area with a fire pit and of course bands. Check out their Facebook for what’s going on and get a crispy bacon BLT its the best.

Awesome little (sort of) hidden away tavern just over the line from Wake County in Franklin County. Great people, great prices, really good burgers and dogs at reasonable prices!! Definitely coming back!! And a live band this Sunday!

This Rustic venue is off the beaten path in Youngsville, NC located just outside of Wake Forest. If you’re looking for a break from chain restaurants and bars in the city this is just the answer. With a truly friendly atmosphere the staff and patrons are welcoming. The night I was there, the annual Christmas tree burning was in full swing. A great way to get rid of all those Xmas trees and who really needs a reason to have a big old fashioned bonfire! Plenty of Oooo’s and Ahhh’s going on and people just enjoying each other’s company.

I ended up getting the Best Burger with Seasoned Fries. Really good. And very reasonably priced.

This is not a bar it is one of the finest taverns I have ever been to. Friendly people, good food, plenty of games and a great friendly staff. Plenty to drink, come on down and enjoy the fun.

I recommend Bud’s Tavern to everyone and encourage them to try the Best of the Best Burger and other foods provides at the bar. I visited Bud’s Tavern last week during the BBQ Ribs Cook-off where Buck used GrampsBBQ Sauce and supported the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry. My friends and I enjoyed being part of the event as well as donating to the food pantry. I get a great gratitude from supporting local foundations, businesses, vendors, farmers markets, etc that keeps our small tight community together and thriving.

My wife and I wanted to try this place out and finally went last night. Walked inside and…crickets. Some other patron was vaguely yelling about how “young people were taking over the bar.”
No one came over to greet us or take our order, offer a menu, nothing. I got bad vibes and we left.
If you all are trying to cater to your “regulars” you better change your tune. New housing looks like it’s gonna be up around the Tavern very soon. There will be new customers so you all might actually have to serve to them or just shut down right now.
