Priscilla did an my amazing service as as we celebrated my mother‘s birthday. She was very helpful very attending and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a great dinner. Mushroom raviolis were good, the gravy was a bit condensed but overall I enjoyed this dish. Caesar on the side, I added lemon wedges. My friend ordered the linguine with clams. Not the best set-up; yet tasty and enjoyable once the linguine is mixed with butter sauce.

My girl had the blackend red snapper and I had the seafood combo. Her snapper was over cooked and tough. My dish was good weird calamari as they use the body and or think portion. sourdough was good. Clam chowder was OK. They didn’t bring any crackers with it. I did like my fish and shrimp. The place is nice and the wait staff is very good. I went on a weekday so it wasn’t busy.

This restaurant is a must try in the city of Stockton California. I went here to try the clam chowder which is said to be the best in the area so I had to try it for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the clam chowder there as well as the drinks from the bar which were top shelf. I also ordered the Philly steak Sandwich with fries and it was more than enough to feed 2 people if I had which to share. The place is very quaint and charming and the service was excellent. The cost for the meal was very reasonably priced especially considering the high caliber of the quality of food that was served. The only negative things I found during my visit was that the small menu card on the table was dirty and covered in a bit of food which was a little bit of a turn off. Also the straws they use for the drinks are too short for their glasses. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. You will not be sorry you did.

From the moment we walked into Buds Seafood Grill, we were impressed with the cozy ambiance and warm service. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our dining experience, which made us feel right at home.
As for the food, everything we tried was simply fantastic. I myself had the Friday Special Cioppino & house New England clam chowder, and I must say, it was one of the most delicious seafood dishes I’ve ever tasted. The flavors were bold and rich, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. The clam chowder was also outstanding and creamy, making for a perfect appetizer.
My lady ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a Cesar side salad, and it was equally impressive. The pasta was perfectly cooked and smothered in a flavorful Alfredo sauce, while the salad was crisp and fresh.
Our kids were also delighted with their meals. They ordered the Bacon Beef burger with cheese and fries, which was huge and flavorful. They also tried the kids popcorn shrimp and fries, which they both absolutely loved.
The portions at Buds Seafood Grill are huge, and the flavor is amazing. The food reminds you of an authentic fisherman’s feast meal, which adds to the overall dining experience.

I had lunch here with a friend. I used to work in Stockton but had never heard of Bud’s so I was excited to try it out. I only eat seafood so this was the perfect place. I got a large shrimp and crab Louie salad and a half sandwich of the crab melt (you can get any sandwich as a half or whole FYI).
The Louie salad was really good, all the veggies were fresh and crisp. There was a really good portion of shrimp and crab. The crab melt is open face (no bread on the top) and it was delicious. I love and still each cheese so this is exactly what I was looking for.
The service was good, our waitress was really nice and she helped me pick the sandwich. One of the other waiters chatted with us about food while we were waiting. I’ll be coming back another time, especially to try the clam chowder.

Update 03/05/2022: it was my father’s birthday so my family gathered here to celebrate. The service was excellent! Our server, along with the other wait staff were friendly, helpful, and totally on top of things as they kept our water glasses and the bread and butter plates full. We were a big party, so we really do appreciate their attentive service.
The food is usually great here. The salad was good and the clam chowder was delicious as always. However, tonight’s entrees seemed off. My nephew had the seafood sauté with french fries. I reached over and had a bite of a scallop. It was overcooked and had a rubber-like texture. The fries were tasty.
My hubby ordered the clams linguini. It came with a huge bowl of clams and a separate bowl of noodles. He shelled the clams into the noodles and would dip the noodles into the broth. The wait staff came by to clear empty dishes and instead of taking the shell bowl, he took the broth bowl. The noodles were bland and needed seasoning. Adding salt and pepper didn’t help. My hubby wished that the wait staff left the broth bowl.
I had the Bud’s Beef and 3 grilled prawns. I was looking forward to it as I had always heard good things about Bud’s Beef. The meat was nicely flavored but cooked to a medium instead of the medium rare I requested. I was not impressed with this entree. The meat appeared as though it was scraps thrown together to complete the plate, like it was the last one of the night. The prawns were grilled well, but also lacked flavor. With a price tag of $30, I was quite disappointed with my meal choice.
Bud’s is a staple in this community and I’ve had great meals here. It might have been an off night for the kitchen. I hope that the next time I go, the food is better.

Ten Fold
Went here to satisfy my oyster cravings. They were ok definitely sweet but I like mines a little more briny. Steak was good not great. The Alfredo was ok and Bloody Mary was ok. Definitely will be going back on for happy hour oysters
