I’m from LA area and stopped by here for work, so I’m not familiar with the area. I love to visit burger joints all over specially when they have that run down old vintage’y (if that’s even a word lol) look to them. I stopped by here 12/4/25 and upon entering the restaurant for the very first time, I was amazed at how the place looked like. Feels like I was in the early 90’s when I was born. Burgers were out of this world!!!! Best burger I’ve ever tried!

I think the burgers are good. Not great or anything super unique but definitely worth going to if you’re in town! Counter service. It’s rare you see a local burger joint like this because I feel like so many are chain restaurants. I definitely want to come back and try the apple turnover and the fries!

The burger was very good with a good bun that held up well till the last bite.
The French fries were wimpy and not crisp. Thats a personal issue.
I had there large burger combo with lettuce tomato, onion and no cheese with fries and drink.for $10.99. A great deal.
They have lots of parking in back.
Searing is limited with maybe 6 small tables that seat two persons each.
The staff is very helpful and the place is old but pretty clean.
I recommend this restaurant for a good burger and good value.

Nothing like my childhood memory of this place. Nothing standa out about the burgers. Its like they found a generic how to make a burger checklist and clicked all the boxes. The ingredients are there, just not the flavor. Fries are definitely solid. Amazing price for a meal.

The quality of the ingredients used and the amount of food given per dollar are both really good. The problem is that the fries are not salted well or at all and the burgers could use a bit more sauce even though they say the have mayo, ketchup, and mustard. So I can only give it a 4/5. Also small nitpick but they cooked the top bun on the grill on top of the patty but not the bottom bun, so when you eat it the top bun is hot and the bottom one is cold.

Now it’s time for the 2nd of the 2 best fast food restaurants in Vallejo…Bud’s Giant Burgers. This has been a staple of high school lunches since I went to high school in 1983-1985, and BEFORE. These are burgers that other establishments try to become and surpass, but CAN’T. Each burger is large, and cooked well, unless specified, and well seasoned, then piled high with basic condiments of lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese (bacon & avocado are extra) mustard and mayo. These can can come single, double, and triple in size…I have never tried a 3-patty burger, just too big!! Fries come in 3 sizes, served in cups versus bags, and are crispy YET soft enough to pack your cup. The lines can get long around lunch/dinner, so try the off hours 1st… you won’t be disappointed. As you frequent more often, and you will, be brazen and try bigger combos until you find what you’re comfortable with. I will travel 2 1/2 hrs, twice a month, for lunch here and Sac’s Tasty Dogs. Avoid McDonald’s, Burger King, In & Out, etc… eat at Bud’s for a fantastic meal.
