So came to the new location about two or three times other than that I only been to a buds maybe once before but definitely some decent quality stuff. Good menu selection chicken livers are incredible and if you’re someone that participates in lent on Fridays, this is a great menu selection For that as well. As I really enjoy the clam strips. And can’t go wrong with BUDS SAUCE.
But just keep thinking about it lately my only concern and feedback on what Buds should improve on is taking better care for those that choose to dine in. In my case, place my order take my ticket and was waiting for my number to be called and it takes a good chunk of time especially if it’s busy so I was waiting and waiting to the point that I didn’t hear my number get called.
And then the lady from the counter came to my table and asked if this was my number and then I said yes, then tells me she tried calling for me that my order was ready. I apologized and then went to get my order.
But slowly, realizing to this day about that little incident was the fact if she could come to the back to let me know that my number was ready why not bring my order to my table? While doing that. I mean, you have Chick-fil-A even McDonald’s for that matter you place a dine in order. And the staff brings food to the table.
Not complaining because I think buds does a good job but at the same time if this is the habit that buds does. Then I think they need to consider a new protocol when it comes to servicing guests That’s a dining in.
While I don’t mind getting up to get my order but at the same time there’s definitely individuals that would like to sit down and get comfortable. And I think the polite and right thing to do is just bring the food to the guest table. And if you need to start putting down table numbers and markers, then go ahead and do it. And especially in this particular area A retirement community. Let the guests stay seated and just deliver the food to the table. Don’t make someone get up.

I drove 45 mins to go here. OMG, the food was so good. I got the 2piece chicken and fish with fries and Mac and cheese. I ordered and extra Mac and cheese. I was able to get meals of it.
Staff was very nice and helpful since this was my first here.
You so need to bring this great fast food restaurant further south to Sunrise. There’s and empty Arby’s off of Sunrise and University that’s waiting for you!!!

Long line, but it moved fast. Great customer service. Thought the food was ok. Chicken is definitely not better than Popeye’s or Church’s, to me! Great crunch, but it lacks seasoning. Fries were ok as well. The star of the show was the conch fritters. They reminded me of the ones in the Bahamas. Worth a visit.

This was my tribute trip to Buds. My dad passed away this past Sunday and we would stop by this Buds all the time, long before I could even remember. My dad’s thing was asking for the crumbs from the fryer. During our heyday, they’d hear his voice in the drive thru and say, hey Tim! And would have a big box of fryer crumbs waiting with our order .
I went in today and let Rosa and Steve know why I was asking for some crumbs from the fryer (which were amazing btw). Everyone was so kind and accommodating. A lot of things have changed in 45 years, but thank God Buds is still Buds . Thanks for the memories!

Passed by here for years never stopped, Well today we did! Man!, was I happy we did their fish sandwich and conch fritters were terrific! Don’t let me forget the collard greens! Wow! The staff was terrific very polite and attentive. Do yourself a favor and go!!! Delicious!!!

On January 25, 2026, I purchased a family feast from this location, something I have done several times in the past. After returning home and eating with my family, we discovered that the chicken was undercooked, had a spoiled taste, and appeared to be cross-contaminated with shrimp.
That same night, he went into anaphylactic shock. His throat closed, he collapsed, and I had to call 911. As a mother, this was the most horrific and helpless experience of my life. I almost lost my only son.
Food cross-contamination is extremely dangerous and can be life-threatening for customers with allergies. Frying different foods in the same oil without proper precautions puts lives at risk.
I strongly urge this location to review and improve its food safety and allergen handling procedures immediately.
I am beyond disappointed and will never return to this location. I also want to warn others, especially those with seafood allergies, to be extremely cautious when purchasing food from the Boynton Beach location.

Omg! The chicken tenders are so good here. Probably the best chicken tenders I have ever had. hand-breaded with crispy, light batter. I got a few sides of the Ken’s ranch dressing, and both the fries and chicken fingers were great to dip in the ranch. Excellent quality for chicken fingers too. The crinkled fries were delicious too. Potato salad and pasta salad were decent, but I still chose the fries.
My Dad had the two piece chicken diner – and he said that was really good as well. I’m from out of town – but will be moving here soon. So I’m excited to come back and eat here again.
