I stopped by and ordered the Bánh mì and the Deli Classic, and honestly, both were absolutely outstanding. The Bánh mì completely blew me away; the meat was perfectly seasoned, super flavorful, and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. The balance of textures between the crispy bread, pickled veggies, and savory protein was spot on. Y’all need to get this one fssss.

The Deli Classic was just as impressive in its own way. You could immediately tell how fresh the ingredients were; the crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and housemade turkey came together in a way that didn’t feel heavy but still totally satisfying. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the quality and preparation here. If you want something more mild or traditional get this one

The staff were also so friendly and welcoming, and the service was surprisingly quick; I only waited around five minutes for my order, even during a busy time. The whole experience felt chill, easy, and friendly. I also love that this is an entirely vegan business; it makes the meal taste even better knowing I’m supporting something sustainable and compassionate. Highly recommend this place!!! I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

This was one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve had, I genuinely couldn’t tell it was vegan. All the ingredients taste so fresh and the flavors go really well together (and at an affordable price). It had the perfect amount of kick from the jalapeños, but you can also customize it to remove those. I also went next door to the gift shop and met the owner of Buds there and she was so kind and friendly! I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend trying this place (and their gift shop!) out.

Great vibes! The guy working was so nice and made the experience even better. I got the pesto sandwich and it is quite large. Love the outdoor seating!

I’ve been wanting to try Bud’s for a long time – finally went today and it did not disappoint!!! The staff had the kindest energy. The bread was perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. I tried the Bahn Mi since it had so many good reviews – 10/10! The level of spice, flavors and the portion size.. it was all perfect. The lavender lemonade was so good too. Excited to go back and try everything else on the menu- I have no doubt that it’s all delicious.

Edit to add: I am not vegetation or vegan and yet truly would prefer this sandwich shop over many (if not all) others I’ve tried.

“Deli Classic” = Mustard and Sprout sandwich. Couldn’t taste anything else. I don’t think there could be less meat on this thing, there were maybe two thin slices of turkey on it? Nice employees though.

So I just had a religious experience at Bud’s… It was one of those where you have to actually kind of like get yourself together afterwards.

I ordered a classic with yellow mustard and somehow it ended up coming with some kind of insanely delicious pickles as well.

The whole sandwich blew my mind.
I was literally dizzy when I finished it. It was so good.

I hope I get the pickle treatment again someday!

By the way, did you ever notice how cheap the sandwiches are? Don’t forget to smash the far right tip button because the employees will benefit from it and food prices are hella low to start with.

I’m going to mirror Ivan Elmy’s review because I could have copied and pasted his experience as my own. I love few things as much as a perfectly-cooked steak; I’m almost as far as you can get from being vegan.

I was in town for work and did a quick Google search for bahn mi. This place was closest, and without looking into it too closely, I stopped in to grab a sandwich. Like Ivan, I noticed the “v chicken” on the menu as I was ordering, which seemed curious but I didn’t think much of it at the time… then while I was waiting, I pulled up a few reviews and realized that I had just ordered a vegan bahn mi. At that point, I was feeling a bit nervous, but figured the reviews were great, so I’d give it a go.

My sandwich came out about 4 minutes after I ordered, which was quick, and I was immediately surprised by the size. The amount of food for the price was almost alarming. The portions were very notable, immediately making this a good deal.

After a couple bites of my sandwich, I was hooked. I wouldn’t say it was as good as a traditional bahn mi from one of the many local Vietnamese joints in the valley, but it was very, very good. I never would have guessed it was vegan. Everything about it was on point, including the bread, which makes or breaks a good bahn mi.

Worth noting, though, when I first arrived, I was expecting a little indoor area to sit and eat, but this place just has a walk-up order and pick up window, with a few picnic tables sitting outside. It’s very much the food truck experience, but with a brick and mortar location. I didn’t love having to eat on my lap in the car on a cold January day, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

Overall, though, very good experience. I would never personally come here just because it’s vegan, but I would absolutely come here to get a very, very good sandwich for a surprisingly-reasonable price. Highly recommended, even beyond the vegan crowd.
