Cute, clean rustic outdoorsy coffee/sandwich/sweet shop. Very friendly staff, good breakfasts and coffee. The Hershey chocolate cake was so good as was the Apple Pie Slab. The cashier warmed it up for me when I asked. They also have a nice outdoor eating area.

We came here for a quick breakfast. We had three orders of two eggs, protein and a bread. I had an over easy, bacon and rye bread. My wife had scrambled, bacon and cinnamon swirl. My daughter had scrambled, croissant and bacon. We also had an order of French toast for my other daughter and her fiancé. Overall the food was good. We had to wait a bit but was expected due to the time of day. The ambiance of the location was great. We would come back again to this location

Breakfast at Bud’s in Interlochen. Like a Coffee House, sort of, but bigger.. Order food at the counter and they bring it to you by calling your name. Good flavor on the French Toast. There is a patio you can enjoy a lunch sandwich. Dark cabin ambiance. A must go if up in the area.

Bud’s is such an Interlochen staple — don’t know what I would do without it. Was a great spot to meet during summer camp and it’s such a large space that it never feels too crowded. Luckily it’s super close to campus and you can walk there!

Bud’s is a great spot for breakfast! Close to all the other major attractions in Interlochen and plenty of space for seating. The decor is really cool too, lots of historical photos. Food was good!

The counter experience was a bit off putting, we waited for a personal conversation to end before we were recognized and our order taken. That said, it was a slow day and well after the lunch rush and there are no fast lanes in Interlochen.

Painfully S l o w and not busy at all – three small tables of patrons and one table had their order. Do they have to raise the chickens and wait for them to mature before they can make breakfast? Doesn’t seem like anyone is overseeing the restaurant process. 40 mins for COLD eggs.
Alerted counter person the decafe coffee. dispenser was empty, never filled it. Creamer dispenser empty. Lots of just hanging around by staff. Lots of Coffee grounds in coffee if you like it that way.

This place should be amazing, the food is fine, the people are nice, but they are the consistently slowest restaurant I may have ever frequented. Talking 30 to 45 minutes to get your order, when the restaurant isn’t even busy. Literally ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich for myself and a pancake for my kid last time. Every 15 minutes I checked on my order. The last time she found it sitting on the shelf. The food wasn’t hot. This wasn’t a one-off.
