I have not had a pizza from here in a long time I ordered one picked it up. It was $35. I got home and it doesn’t look like any pizza I’ve ever had in my life. There is no pepperoni I did order lite sauce, but they only put sauce in the middle of the pizza and nowhere else what so ever and it tasted horrible.

Buddy’s gf pizza is damn good–especially if you ask for it well done. Then, you get a crispier crust, making it have more of the true Detroit-style feel. Their antipasto salad is always a win. We ordered that too, but ate it before I remembered to snap a pic. We love the Greek salad too as an alternative.

Buddy’s Pizza offers a solid, local Italian dining experience. The menu is extensive and provides good value, with the added bonus of al dente pasta upon request.
The minestrone and marinara are refreshingly subtle, avoiding the overly strong flavors common in some Italian restaurants.
The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself is spacious and clean.
A future visit will definitely include trying their Detroit-style pizza.

Our family enjoys eating at Buddy’s. From the adults to the teens, all agree that this is our favorite pizza. The salads are fresh, the pizza crust is delicious and crisp, and the Buddy’s bread is an addition we enjoy with the dips. Grandma likes to come along and share this meal for an opportunity to visit with the grandchildren. Everyone is happy!

Reading others reviews on service there seems to be a trend of a lack of great service I experienced myself today. Being a visitor from Florida on business and hearing about Buddys Detroit style pizza, I made arrangements to stop in for a menu to decide on a choice in the car.
One other person was waiting to be seated and the attendant acknowledged me. I asked for a menu to go and to my surprise the attendant directed me to walk from the front of the restaurant to the back where carryout is handled for a menu.
As a matter of course, good service starts when you walk in. The attendant could have offered to get the menu or even acknowledged it would make sense to keep some upfront for guests but just mumbled sorry because it probably occured to her that asking a customer to traverse for a menu through the restaurant is sad. If this is an indication of how someone would be treated ordering from this location I would recommend to skip this location all together.

The pizza is extremely overrated and overpriced. It was just not good. The breadsticks were disgusting. It’s really the type of food that I would expect from maybe like jets or something like that. It’s just not near the quality it should be for the price. I really suspect that they use cheap ingredients because you can just taste it throughout. I will definitely not be going back when there are way better options locally that use quality ingredients especially Italian organic flour.

I used to love Buddy’s Pizza back in the day. I had it for the first time in probably 10 years and I’ll have to say I was very disappointed in the taste and quality of the pizza. The pizza was bland. There was barely any cheese
I definitely did not taste like the pizza I remember especially the crust. We ordered out so I just gave service and atmosphere 3 stars

Made a special trip to Buddies in Plymouth today for take out to feed the family. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Buddies but I often think of going since it’s always been so good. Our pizza today was terrible. Almost no sauce, crust was crunchy but completely missing the usual caramelized brown goodness, crust was also dry and dense as if it were stale, cheese was not anything special. I don’t know what they changed but they better change it back quickly. Really disappointed.
