Buddy’s Pizza was excellent. For starters, we had Cheese Bread and Chicken Wings. We ordered 3 different pizzas and shared. We ordered SUPER 6 MILE (wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushroom and ham), SICILIAN (wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, salami, diced tomatoes, tomato basil sauce and buddy’s Sicilian spice blend) and HAWAIIAN (wisconsin brick cheese, ham, dice pineapples and buddy’s BBQ sauce). Everything was excellent. 5 Stars. Everything looked delicious and I was hungry, I forgot to get photos of the 3 pizzas. =P

staff are nice and helpful.. i usually go to jets but i really didn’t like this place. don’t know if it was an off day but i couldn’t finish the food due to the pizza being thin & wings soggy. everything was bland and i wanted a refund but all they could do was a smaller credit so i let my husband have it.

Ordered an all corner Sicilian and all corner spicy Italian pizza or carry out. The pizza was done at the exact time I ordered it to be ready for. The service was amazing and everything was delicious. Buddy’s pizza is always delicious and satisfying. I wish the prices were more affordable so we could indulge more often.

Pizza was very good. Service was outstanding at our table. Bathroom wasn’t that clean for a restaurant and floors need a better deep scrubbing. Hence, 4.

Had dinner at Buddy’s Pizza in Livonia, and overall, it was just okay. The food was decent, the service was fine, and the restaurant was fairly empty, which took away from the atmosphere. I was expecting a bit more, but I will say the meatballs were really good. Overall, a decent spot, but not quite what I had hoped for.

Well let’s start with my friend and I came in and the hostess looks at us and continues her conversation (laughing, giggling, slapping the podium) with her colleague. My friend and I look at each other very confused, and then the hostess says “I’ll be with you in a minute”. Okay, we were acknowledged, so we moved on. We were then sat in the VERY back of the restaurant in the furthest corner… very awkward and uncomfortable. But, we sat. Our waitress came and never introduced her herself or even greeted us! She did however come to our table three times to take our order when we requested some time to decide what we wanted. Well, my pizza came, I began eating and after a few bites I discovered a huge piece of hair in my pizza. Our waitress never returned to check on us. When she did return, she asked us about our bill and if we needed to go boxes. At this time I made her aware of the hair in my food. No affect! She literally stares me down. Again, VERY awkward and uncomfortable. After a while I just say, I’m not paying for this! Her response was I can have them make you another one. I told her no thank you. The waitress said “okay” picked up the pizza and walks away. She never apologized or seemed to care at all!! She brought my friend her bill and said “have a good night “ . Honestly, I can’t recall ever having an experience that bad at a restaurant! EVER! We left and went to another restaurant and had a great experience! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! Do better Buddy’s Pizza Livonia!

We received a free four square pizza business card on a previous visit so we decided to use it for carry out. The pizza crust was really tough! It was like trying to break through thick cardboard. It was definitely not worth the drive to get. The antipasto salad wasn’t bad though.

Buddy’s pizza is the best of everything, cheesy, crunchy, saucy, and loaded with toppings.
The individual salad is plenty for 2-3 people, the medium feeds 3-4, and I’ve never dared order a large for fear of never finishing it.

What more could you ask for? The pizza was awesome and the waitress was the sweetest ever. I got a half Super and half all meat 4 square. The all meat was probably top 5 all time in my pizza career. The Super had too many veggies for me but I promised a guy I’d try it. Took half of it home. 2 meals for $18 is pretty good. I saw they had cream puff sundaes on the menu too but I wanted to be able to walk afterwards.

As a Texan who enjoys Detroit-style pizza in Texas, I was quite excited to have an opportunity to try the real deal Detroit pizza. Buddy’s did NOT disappoint!!! Got the Motown Museum and it was incredible. Will happily return next time I’m in the area. The waitress, Sierra, checked in consistently. Quality in both food and service is impeccable.
