Convenient to get to. Pulled pork is pretty good. The brisket has too much fat and needs to be scraped off when being made. The turkey is ok. They used a utensil that had shredded cheese on it when filling my order.

Kinda nice chicken bbq sandwich and also nice tasting pulled pork bbq sandwich. It was pretty good , especially for the price point. The inside was super clean! It was very well organized ! Their lemonade was wonderful, even had fresh lemons to go with it. I’ll definitely come back, I’ll get the brisket next time. A fast food bbq. Definitely not the best, but it’s okay, pretty good.

So before I dig in, let me say for takeout that the pork sandwich was great. Mac and cheese was great! Good job there. Don’t let me discredit that. This review is here because of the lemon pie. I gotta congratulate whomever sold us the order because they have some balls, or whomever is responsible for quality checking the food before it goes out. Lemon pie was so burnt, I couldn’t chew through the brick of burnt crust. It’s a cream pie, yet I could hardly get the lemon pie off the crust when trying to scrape it off. Straight up a lemon brick. Check your people baking your stuff, and tell them to lay off the ‘za. That’s embarrassing.

Marissa is so great. She was patient with me ordering. She listened to my ridiculous amount of toppings I wanted and said no problem lol. She checked our food before giving it, asked for the rest of our order. She was polite, happy, and so sweet. We will be back there because of her!!!

I was so disappointed…my mouth actually fell open. The store is the Walker Springs and Kingston Pike. We’ve been going there for at least 20 yrs. as we live 2 miles away. Our meal was cold and much small servings, hush puppies were strange and not in a good way. We ordered 3 deconstructed hot fudge cakes …we had plenty of cake and ice cream (tasteless ice cream) but only had approx. 2 1/2 Tbles of hot fudge! All I can say for sure is we will be looking for a new BBQ place…such a shame.

So we eat at different buddy’s all the time because I have extreme dietary restrictions. I always get a pound of pulled chicken fries and slaw. Now I will not send food back. With that being said. This is the first time I haven’t finished my food. It was cold and didn’t taste like any other buddy’s chicken I have ever had. And I go to a buddy’s almost weekly! South knoxville is the best one by the way. I apologize for the rant but we spent over $50 and thats crazy.

Good simple bbq with great flavor. Sides are a good portion and go perfectly with the pulled pork. Handmade milkshake was a great treat!
