Great service and the food was good.
Got the oysters on half shell, they were delicious and very clean tasting, but kind of small. The steak tip appetizer was a little overcooked and a little bland. The fillet was very good and the ribeye was very good as well. However, the best part of the meal was the crab. Quite pricey, so it’s not somewhere we would go every week, however, we will likely go back.

Had reservations for 11, we were given the side conference room to the right when you come in. The plus was no one else around us, the con was Zero view. The waitress apologized that “we are short handed” and she didn’t know she was doing our party. Odd start to dinner. You would think “Budds Broiler”… Like Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue.. but it’s Anthonys (HomePort?) place. They want to make you feel you are in upper scale for that area- it’s still Richland. The drinks from the bar were sub-par at took forever to arrive. Couldn’t figure out how to make a New York sour if they tried (they did twice). The food was just OK and took almost an hour to come to us. We had a gentleman come in and “talk” with us and offered to turn the TV on for some music. He couldn’t figure that out as he was trying to play damage control when we mentioned it had been 45mins since ordering. When food did arrive we all kinda looked at each other and gave a “for this” look. Nothing stood out as amazing. Chicken Fried steak was salty and luke warm. Yes we had 11 + dishes coming to us. But we all felt they were left under warming units a little to long. The filets at $65 I believe were small and nothing special at all. Overall we came to this area with all the family for a get together and found other places that were better in our opinion. Reason for three stars- the waitress really did try, I would blame higher up. The food was ok and honestly we made it fun with bantering and making fun of our day, the area, and dinner choice.

We had Shyrete as our server and she was fun, witty and helpful. We decided to have salads to start, share a sirloin and it was delicious. She also gave us some local recommendations for tomorrow. Overall it was a great experience.

Great experience. Food was phenomenal. Wait time could have been better but they were understaffed so we gave them that. Expensive but still a overall great experience for Valentine’s day.

Steak too juicy, lobster too buttery. 10/10. The food took a little while to arrive, but once it did, everything else came out quickly—refills, sides, and dessert. It was a bit noisy, but I really enjoyed the lighting and the overall atmosphere.

This is my favorite place for steak in Tri-cities, we are very limited to good restaurants here. Budd’s is great, they have great service, consistent menus, and delicious food. My favorite steak is the filet or the ribeye and the best dessert is the melting lava cake, that’s what I call it, not sure what the exact name of it on the menu is…nor do I care…all I know is that it’s delicious. It does take 15 minutes to make so keep that in mind. I often order it to go if I’m not dining in and only want dessert, it’s so good! The one thing I was sad about was they got rid of the Brut champagne (my fav) and replaced it with another option that isn’t as dry, it’s good but not the brut. Love this place, highly recommend!!!!

We had the Tomahawk Steak that was cooked Medium Rare served with Mashed Garlic Potato. Staff took care to make sure that it was exactly how we wanted it cooked before they served it.

The Garlic Shrimp came with 5 Big Shrimp served with Green Beans and Rice Pilaf. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and very tasty.

Service is excellent with someone coming around to make sure that you didn’t need anything else. Service is above and beyond what you would expect.

The service was great. I had the chicken fried steak and calamari. I loved the calamari. It tasted fresh. The chicken fried steak was okay. It could have had a little more flavor and definitely needed more gravy.

I had the ribeye, she had the filet mignon. Both were cooked correctly, seasoned perfectly. We ate on the patio… Lovely view of the river and boats
