The experience was wonderful! I started off with cocktails, Stawberry Jalapeño Lemon, and it was delish! I had the crab cakes and cast iron redfish; my friends had the bone in pork loin, crab bisque, brisket bombs, spinach salad, and seafood potatoes. The food was absolutely delicious, and it did NOT miss on the FLAVORS!!
For dessert, I had the white chocolate bread pudding..it was great. No complaints! Our server, Charlie, was wonderful and very hospitable as well! I will definitely be back!

We have been here several times within the past 3 years and very satisfied most of the time!! Came here on Valentine’s night, we had tasteless, zero flavor grilled oysters, over cooked crab claws drowned in a brown sauce loaded with garlic, I paid $38 for a single, small & thin piece of overly seasoned redfish (they could have put 2 filets on the plate and they still would have made plenty of money off of me) with crawfish cream sauce, 1 peoce of a crawfish tail & what looked like it was drizzled with watered down queso and some shriveled up broccoli. My husband’s ribeye was thin and overpriced. The chocolate molten lava cake was crumbly and dry, and had the smallest peice of bread pudding for $10. Can’t get a decent meal on Valentine’s anymore, anywhere. Spent well over $200 on meteocre food, left a 20% tip for our server. Will not be back unfortunately! Our reservations were under the name “Impastato”.

This is a must visit if you are on a couples date or a birthday party. Came here after work to celebrate a co-workers birthday. I got the Brisket Bombs which were delicious to start our meal (sorry didn’t get a picture). For my dinner I got the Filet Mignon Stack, it came with a fried green tomato, crab cake, bacon wrapped shrimp, and some kind of creamed spinach. Needless to say this is one of the better I have had in a long time. I would definitely go back and order it again. I usually don’t like fried green tomatoes but I ate every piece of it. The bacon on the shrimp had a little char to it which just added a bit of flavor and the filet was cooked to a perfect medium temperature and had an excellent flavor. Buddies is a must try if you haven’t been.

Maannnn this place was amazing! The dishes here taste as good as they look, 5 stars across the board! Jade was an awesome waitress and knew the menu like the back of her hand. I will 100% be returning here the next time I come to Hammond. It was so good I barely had enough time to take a pic before I absolutely destroyed my plate.

Buddies catered our wedding and it was amazing. The appetizers were a huge hit and the shrimp and grits were amazing. Mike was so nice and we got to chat with him during our wedding and my family also chased him down to chat with him. The staff were so nice and friendly as well! We loved working with him.

The food well. Ehh. We had the board wich is a filet, a ribeye, pork loin, bacon wrapped shrimp and mashed potatoes and broccoli. This is a 2 person meal . Portions was ok but the steak was tough and bland. Flavor was charred meat. No seasoning or marinade at all. Just tough dry meat across the board. Me and my wife love going to try all the elegant places everywhere we go. We have had great stakes and mediocre steaks. These were terrible. The pork loin was good and tender my wife says I didnt eat any. The mashed potatoes was ok and the 4 pieces of broccoli was plain broccoli. . The restaurant was quite and very comfortable but for these prices you need to season the steaks or marinade them. And then after we ate as we sat and talked my wife gestured for me to look through the open wall into the kitchen as we can see the chef prepare meals. As we watched him palm steaks with bare hands and flip and plate food bare handed I felt sick. I ate steaks this man just palmed .I might has well licked his palm. As I write this I feel sick.

Our first time coming to Buddies, My sister was eager to try it out off of recommendations from several people. Everything we ordered was full of flavor. Our filet was perfect—medium, tender, and seasoned. The fried green tomato and crab cake was also delicious, with a hint of spice. We experienced excellent service from beginning to end! I’m sure we will be back again. I would’ve given five stars, but there are no TVs in the bar, so we missed part of the football game.

I have to say… this is not a flip-flop tee-shirt restaurant. Its more upscale than the “Bar & Grill” atmosphere we were expecting. The food was pricier than I was expecting but then again I was expecting a typical seafood bar & grill.
We will return for a nice late afternoon dinner.

First things first the menu on line does not match the prices of the menu when your seated. I paid 44 dollars more for 2 steaks second service was horrible had food spilled on my brother by the waitress we had to ask for bread also . Then the drinks came out wrong twice. On top of all that I ordered a medium well steak got a rare steak so I had to send it back then it came out over cooked very unprofessional this place sucks my advice go to stabs in Baton Rouge
