Reviews
We had the tandoori chicken, biryani, and a refreshing drink. Everything was excellent. Smoky, juicy tandoori and a perfectly balanced, fragrant biryani.
Great food, great vibe, great value. Highly recommended.
We came across this place through word of mouth and it did not disappoint. The owner/chef was extremely welcoming and expressed his passion in cooking through the delicious dishes! We came on a Sunday for lunch (opens at 12pm) and didn’t need a reservation. Every dish we had was tasty and perfectly seasoned.
We’ll definitely be coming back!
In the end, they actually made it for me to try. I highly recommend you guys come and give this place a try.
Absolutely the Best Indian Food!
We tried the dal makhani, butter chicken, and karahi paneer, and every single dish was incredible. The dal makhani especially stood out — rich, creamy, and full of that authentic Delhi flavour that’s so hard to find.
The owner, Sidhhart, is not only a talented chef but also such a kind and amazing human being. You can truly taste the love and passion he puts into every dish.
Highly recommended!
After finding the place, I saw that there was a big lot with ample parking, definitely a pro!
I went into the restaurant and learned that it was on the second floor, up a flight of stairs. I was greeted by the owner, Sid, who served me a glass of water and walked me through the menu. And from those brief interactions, I realized this place is special. Sid is masterful in his hospitality and after answering my questions, he suggested the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan to pair with the cold weather.
While I waited for my dish, Sid offered me a glass of Chai which perfectly warded off the cold weather. The combination of chai, milk, and ginger was so good!
When I got my dish, I was most impressed by the texture of the chicken in the Butter Chicken. Sid pointed out that it was tandoori chicken as opposed to the usual stewed method, resulting in the meat retaining more flavour. This was palpable as the chicken wasn’t dry and stringy as I had encountered before.
The naan was a bit thinner and crispier than I normally go for. Despite this, I though it was well made and satisfying. I generally like a doughier, thicker naan though I’m not sure if that is less authentic.
I added a serving of basmati as I still had so much Butter Chicken left and this portion was solid.
Overall, the meal was good but the hospitality really stood out. I came looking for food and ended up making a friend in Sid. Thank you for the good conversation, the yummy food, and the kindness. Keep being awesome!
