We have been there on 3 different occasions before tonight all were good experiences until now.
6 pm reservation, apps show up at 820pm. 3 hours for a meal is far too long and we didn’t even receive our deserts that was included in the meal price.
Food is always good but I won’t be going back as the service tonight was very unsatisfactory.
Have more staff on hand if you’re fully booked
I’ve been to India twice, and honestly, this is the closest you get to travelling without boarding a plane! From the love poured into every dish to the beautiful décor, the moment you walk in, you’re transported abroad. It feels special.
We’ve tried so many dishes over time (especially thanks to their brilliant family dinner combos, which let you taste multiple curries side by side—dangerously good idea…), and everything has been consistently top-notch in flavour and quality.
Our favourites:
• Onion Bhaji – Crispy, golden, and perfectly spiced. Comfort food done right.
• Hakka Gobi – Addictive, punchy, and full of flavour. Impossible to stop eating.
• Fish Amritsari – This one doesn’t get enough hype when I tell friends, but it should. Deep-fried, flaky, and absolutely packed with flavour. A sleeper hit!
• Dahi Poori – Mind. Blown. A true symphony of flavours and textures—sweet, tangy, crunchy, creamy. You have to try this Indian street-food masterpiece!!!!
• Beef Vindaloo – Bold, rich, and deeply satisfying.
• Chicken Tikka Masala – A classic done beautifully, with depth and balance.
• Shrimp Coco Mango – Creamy, aromatic, and perfectly indulgent.
• Daal Makhani – Luxuriously smooth and comforting, the kind you crave again the next day.
• Vegan Squad – Thoughtful, flavour-forward dish.
• Saag-E-Jashn (Chicken) – My current to-die-for favourite. Earthy, rich, and incredibly comforting. I’m obsessed.
Every visit genuinely feels like a mini escape to India. If you’re looking for unforgettable flavours, warm hospitality, and food that tells a story—Buddha Indian Restaurant is it.
Service was great with some great recommendations for us newbie Indian food eaters!! We truly enjoyed the experience.
We will return!
