I really loved Buck’s BBQ. I had the rib plate. It came with two sides and a drink plus dessert. Because I let them know I wasn’t really sure what I wanted for dessert they gave me samples of everything instead of one choice. They are under new management and will be remodeling a bit and adding to the menu. Check this place out. I know I’ll be back!

Finally!!! Most BBQ places are mediocre to horrible but this place nails it. I eat BBQ all over the south as I travel and have yet to have food this good. Pulled pork is perfectly smokey, large ribs with just enough bite, and the brisket is moist and flavorful. The sides I had are amazing too but at place like this… it’s all about the meat. If your not eating here, your wrong.

I was skeptical of going here at first because I normally base my decisions on reviews and considering this place only had 2 it made me wary. But holy cow, I was missing out on this gem! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The owner came and checked on us several times and was beyond courteous. The staff was extremely friendly and did I mention how mouthwatering the food was? I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my guest orderd the brisket. Both were cooked to perfection. The potato salad exceeded my expectations! you could tell that alot of time and effort had been put into every single detail. The plates came with a complementary slice of cake. The banana pudding was a recipe that I have never tasted before. I highly recommend this place and will now be one of my weekly stops!!

The staff is very kind and welcoming, absolutely some of the nicest people. I truly wish I could write a better review. Unfortunately, it was the worst bbq I have ever paid for and not worth the ~$18 I spent on the food.
I ordered a combo plate of brisket and pulled pork with collard greens and baked beans and my friend ordered the same combo plate with potato salad and collard greens.
The brisket was overly dry and shredded, but they masked it slightly with an attempt to rehydrate it by soaking in its juices before serving it dripping wet. The pulled pork was bland as well, with very little seasoning. The potato salad tasted like it was from Walmart because you could literally taste the plastic tub it was stored in. The collard greens were weak; very little flavor and had large chucks of bay leaves and 3-4” chunks of fat floating within it. The baked beans were the best part, but only because they were sweeter than desert. The sweet tea had a Smokey bbq taste to it and was sweeter than sin dripping off the balls of Satan. The “special hot” bbq sauce…. just don’t. Bbq sauce should never be blacker than the grease off a grill at the end of the week and should never have chunks of a pepper hand mixed in with sweet baby rays.

Ordered pulled pork. Meat was dry & kinda tough. Tasted fine but tough. Coleslaw was different but good, baked beans were execellant! Service was so so 1 person serving. Nobody to ask for refill of tea. Was given tea to go to compensate for no refill.

A co-worker and I came in around 12:15 to place a to-go order. There were about 15 or so people inside dining. After a few minutes we placed our order and had a seat to wait. It seemed a little unorganized, I was offered two other people’s orders that were dining in. Customers seemed frustrated with the staff not knowing who’s orders were who’s.
After about 15 minutes I recieved my order which seemed to be a good time for a lunch rush to-go order. People who ordered before me were frustrated as they were still waiting and trying to figure out who ordered what.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and 1 side of pasta salad for $9.00. It was not exactly my liking of pulled pork as it was not really shredded, more or less chunky strips with A Lot of fat sandwiched between two plain texas toast pieces of bread. The pasta salad was decent.
I will go back to try it again, but this time around I was not a fan.
