All of our meats are expertly cooked, charred, roasted or grilled. While our Tri Tip is our signature, we take all of our meats seriously — whether it is hand pulled pork, juicy and flavorful chicken, or grilled salmon, we season, rub, or sauce each to perfection. We only use the highest quality beef — Certified Angus Beef. Our Tri Tip is marinated and hand-rubbed with a secret seasoning. We char-roast it over an open fire, then smoke it in our smoke oven to a perfect medium-rare finish. We only use the freshest ingredients. Seasoned on a plate or dressed on a salad, all of our ingredients are treated with the same care as our meat. Down to our house made rustic croutons, you would be surprised at how much we do behind the scenes!

I’ve been coming here on Mondays with my wife for quite some time now. If you come by before 5pm, they have a happy hour menu which has some good deals. However, we don’t really come there for the food or the drinks specifically, we come there for the experience week after week. The bartender (William) is the coolest, most laid back, understanding guy at buckhorn. He’s been our all-in-one for as long as we went there. Their food is great and William is very knowledgeable in mixing up some fancy drinks. Attached photos of some of our favorite dishes from the happy hour.

The food was excellent. The portions were large and it came out fast. I came in with my family / kids to eat dinner, so I didn’t care too much for the bar and people coming in just to drink. The bar is right in the middle of the restaurant so you’re not really separated from it while eating.

Not the worst thing in the world but look at what $22 something got us. 3 slices of tri tip and a handful of fries. We also asked for rare but got this instead. It was very chewy and just a sad meal overall. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you were really desperate for bbq.

We love anything bbq at Buckhorn! Stopped at this location at the Palladio’s in Folsom during the lunch hour. Never a disappointment as the food & service is great. Restaurant is clean & servers are friendly.

The Palladio has excellent parking options so that usually not an issue. I visited in a Friday night and it was not an issue. Buckhorn’s was moderately busy. The place was perfectly clean. Staff were nice. The food got to our table super fast. Everyone loved tiger meals. Flavor was too notch. My wife’s minor complaint was that her medium rare was cooked a little too much, first world problems am I right. Prices were moderate considering the area. My first visit and it was great, I’ll definitely come back.

Everyone was great. The food was delicious, best TRI tip aside from my own. At first we didn’t know how to order from the Table. Return to the front with your menus and make the order after being seated. The servers were friendly and professional. I felt stress free for a good half hour.

Food was not the worst but the service was horrible. We arrived at 810pm the lady with brown hair at the register told us to order from her and continued to roll her eyes. She even screamed at the other staff to lock the door(closing is supposed to be at 9pm not 8pm on Friday) . She gave us a number and we sat ourselves by 820pm the bar tender refused to serve beer with my friends meal. The busser on the patio flug a piece of food off another table and it hit my leg. All the people in this place were very rude and obviously did not want to be working. The staff ruined the entire experience. We will not be returning.
