I LOVE this place. I love getting to make a stop when I’m back home visiting my parents. This place never changes. Always friendly service, and you know what to expect with the food. The chicken with jojos is my favorite, but the onion rings are top notch as well. This last trip my dad and I split the chicken dinner and got onion rings and cheese and jalepeno tots as well and it was the perfect dinner. Just make sure to get some white sauce with whatever you have. It’s a very relaxed environment with the best people working there.

This is an amazing small town bar with great food and great service. I grew up near Augusta and Mel’s Café down the street was where my grandpa and I used to get Huckleberry ice cream. My brother and I make several trips over to this town every year to go hunting and fishing and the only place we ever stop for food is this bar. This place will always feel like home because the people here are just genuinely great people

I always order the beef strips with Jo-Jos. I am always pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. Piping hot and tastes great. The family-run business is a cornerstone of the Augusta community and beyond. Don’t forget to try the “white sauce”

Great place, exactly what we needed after a long drive. Portions were plentiful, bartender was super friendly and food was great! We got a cheeseburger deluxe, 8 oz sirloin, hot wings and a patty. Dog friendly patio area too!

Great niche’ atmosphere. Awesome, friendly service with outstanding food. We had the Prime Rib – Medium Rare (huge I might add), with homemade au jus and horseradish. Baked Potato with all the fixings and a house salad – balsamic dressing.

We accidentally bumped into this place for lunch, during our drive from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park. The interior decoration and atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. The fried onion rings and hot wings are the best I have had for quite a while. The fried cod however, is over fried and not fresh. There are also a few files buzzing around, which is kind of annoying.

Augusta, Montana is a tiny tiny cattle ranching town! I think the population is just over 300! We didn’t think we would find something like this but we were greatly surprised! Chicken and jojo’s didn’t disappoint! The waitress was awesome and funny and the food was perfect! This place drew the locals which is always a good sign. Loved it!

Great place. My buddy and I stopped here after spending a week in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We both had the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome. You will not be hungry after eating one of these meals. Highly recommended and will drop by again in the future.
