Our app sampler was delicious. The salads were perfect. My son got an order of chicken fingers which were on the finger foods of the menu so we had to order a side of fries separate because it didn’t come with fries. He got ALOT of fries. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly and though my risotto looked amazing it was hard to eat because it was so incredibly salty. I thought it was just me but when I got it home and tried to finish it it was too salty to eat. Otherwise great night and wonderful service.

Had a great meal at Buckeye Tavern! The food was delicious — especially the steak and the crispy fries. The cozy rustic atmosphere with wooden beams and stone walls made the whole dining experience even better. Friendly vibes all around.

I hadn’t eaten here for many years (before the fire), and was very happy with my visit. The food was good, the service was good and it was nice inside. Very flavorful food with a good bit of choices on the menu. There’s a nice large bar if you’re into that. Interesting sports memorabilia sales section in the entrance way. Historic building that was nicely redone after having been consumed in a fire years ago.

Stopped in for lunch. Selected the salmon salad and the bartender suggested I change up the dressings. The suggestion was amazing. Pretty good bet selection. Fun helpful and knowledgeable staff. Okay looks like it does an amazing business so even though they have a good sized parking lot I bet it is packed at peak times.

Ordered grubhub for a medium well burger. 1st time I ordered from Buckeye. The burger was so burned I could not even scrape it off & 1/4 of a tomato. Gave burger to my dogs. I called manager to send a pic which they did not want to see & I explained that after grubhub reimbursement I still had to pay the fees & tip totalling 10.00. I really wanted them to show the cook the pic, but “sorry” is all I got. Never going there again.

Always a great choice! I recently stopped in for lunch and my server was quick and friendly! I’m a big kid at heart…so I found the perfect option with the Baby Burgers! You get 3 really tasty and really cute little burgers on brioche rolls, I opted for the signature steak fries on the side, which were also awesome! I also had a bowl of their steak & ale soup…. Delicious I got a slice of Oreo cheesecake to go, and that was gone before the end of my workday! Atmosphere is also really nice, well suited for a business lunch or a casual dinner.

Best fresh burger I’ve had in Pennsylvania. I had the Truffle burger. The mushrooms were seasoned perfectly. If you find yourself near here, stop. The booth rules are true but there are chairs. It’s not all high tops. Don’t let a couple of silly reviews stop you.

Though the tavern was full, we were seated right away and our waitress was fast, friendly and helpful. We both enjoyed our salads and the cozy yet buzzing atmosphere.

I’ve been wanting to try Buckeye Tavern for several years when I’d drive by and being open on a Monday night was great since my husband wanted to go out for dinner. My friends recommend Buckeye too since they used to be connected to Alburtis Tavern.
We requested a booth and were told they don’t seat 2 people at a booth. I understand that if you’re busy or expecting to be but it was quiet that night and not super busy. Booths sat empty from the time we came in to our exit.
The food was delicious. A lady going in told me she comes for the drinks – that’s her recommendation.
The waitress couldn’t give any recommendations. She said the menu has so many good things.
I carry my water bottle with me everywhere and didn’t think about it when I walked in with it. The host who seated us didn’t say anything about no outside drinks allowed. It makes sense since it’s a bar. But the waitress shouldn’t have to tell me that, he should. She said there’s a sign at the door but I never saw it even looking for it later.
My husband was disappointed that they only serve Coke products. He ordered the whiskey glazed chicken and had a salad with it and Buffy, our waitress, couldn’t tell us any of the dressings, she showed us they were listed on the menu. If he couldn’t see well that would be no help. He loved the whiskey glaze.
She always kept busy and was attentive to all her guests. She couldn’t tell me what desserts they have because there were too many (8). She brought me a dessert menu.
I ordered the margarita flatbread and a house salad which I’m very thankful I mentioned I can’t have iceberg lettuce as that’s the way it’s prepared. She decided they could make it with spring mix. The flatbread was amazing. I ate all of it.
If I ever get my husband here again I’ll definitely order the salmon on salad. That’s my usual order trying new restaurants.
