Super friendly owner. She was pretty busy at the time but greeted everyone coming in. The fries were really thin and cooked just right. Also got the Pearl dog, chili (homemade) and coleslaw on it. Great food and service. You can watch as everything is prepared as it’s an open store front.

I want to explore more on this menu.
This husband wife team are busting their behind, to win at being a small business owner.

Some reviews mention it being closed during business hours. They have kids. Parents miss work because of their families emergency. Consider how many recitals one misses, while the other works.
Located in a short strip center at Main & Waggonner rd. It looks very small inside. A handful of second hand tables between the open kitchen and the front windows. A short walk down the hall, on the other side of the kitchen, shows a deep lounge-esqe’ room. Tablecloths, centerpieces, and a STAGE. They do open mic nights occasionally for the public. Comedy, music, spoken word, etc.
The couple could not be friendlier and more gracious.
We came to check out the coney sauce(see pic). They offer no bean coney sauce, or with bean chili sauce. All beef hot dogs, grilled, not boiled. Buns are standard, out of the bag. I had a brat(see pic) for the “snap” casing. Usually he splits it on the grill. I like that Chicago “snap”. Both were very good, recommendable, priced right for the convenience of not making it yourself. Fries and onion rings were crispy and plentiful.
If you ever want to know if prices are over priced, just check out drink prices. $1 for a can of soda with a glass of ice. $1.25 tea or lemonade. Thank you for not gouging me like so many others,to be refreshed.
The other reviews rave about the burger. I found out it’s his mothers recipe. Not Costco’s. I need to come back for that.
As a never restaurant owner, I think the fifth star should come with some special items that elevate this from brick & mortar hot dog cart status. Local bakery buns. Columbus meat packer. Hand battered onion rings. Less restaurant food supply item in the freezer. Lose the HUGE GFS condiment bottles on the tables. All of these changes come with a cost passed on to the consumer. Be the best at 3-4 items and unclutter the menu. Pick your goal as the best value meal, or the best possible specific food items.
I wish them all the luck, and will continue to visit and recommend.

Excellent family owned joint. Seems to be a husband/wife team and they were super friendly. The chili is delicious, and we couldn’t stop eating the chili cheese fries. Get the Pearl dog for sure, so good! We’ll most certainly be back!

Been there twice and food and service were excellent. Burgers, wings, chili dogs and fries are served hot and fresh. Buffalo sauce for wings is the perfect buffalo flavor. Onion rings are perfectly cooked and the sweet tea is the perfect amount of sweet. Both the owner and his wife are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience. The highly recommended!

Went here with my daughter while we were out shopping and we both loved it! She got a cheeseburger and fries and I got wings and a slaw dog. Everything was fantastic! The guy running the place was also super nice! One thing that would have been better would be to have smaller portions for kids meals but I took one for the team and finished off her burger. Might be our new go to for Daddy daughter date nights!

I love this place. The owners are always working, and even better, they’re always super friendly and welcoming. The food is always hot and fresh and comes out if the kitchen very quickly. I’m a hot dog and burger guy, and this is fast becoming my go-to spot to grab a great bite to eat.
This place is the definition of a small business, and I hope to see them grow and succeed. SUPPORT BUCKEYE CHEDDAR & CHILI!

Stopped by on our way back to Dayton. I️ had the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the chilli cheeseburger and they were both delicious. We will definitely be back. The owner is so nice and personable. Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat!

Awesome family owned local biz. All food made to order. If you are in a rush, call ahead. It’s worth the wait. Brats are to die for! But the fries, Pearl dog and wings are pretty amazing too. In the midst of adding a party room that will be cool.

I went here because the of all the great reviews, but it was awful and overpriced. The overhead menu has older (lower) prices listed. The restaurant was really dirty. Cheeseburger was a frozen patty, wings soggy, poor quality hotdog that looked nothing like the pictures, and the chili sauce was cold and bland. I’m pretty sure the owners were working, they were really nice. Disappointing.

I’ve been wanting to go in there for the longest time and finally today I made time for lunch. I had the garlic parmesan chicken wings and fries my sister had the cheeseburger and fries. Let me start with the service this young lady is just so sweet and friendly. The chicken was amazing the flavor was on point the fries are thin shoe sting and I’m not all that crazy for those kinds fries but I can say they are better than steak and shake. My sister’s hamburger looked delicious she said it was very good and juicy. I for sure would recommend anyone on the east side to give this little restaurant a chance.. I’ll be back no doubt!!!
