Quiet place to grab some lunch in town, whenever we go in there we’re usually the only customers. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad. You place your order at the counter and then you go sit down and wait for your food. Food is OK, typical bar food. It’s dark inside and a little dirty. But that could be because it’s an older place. Younger people working, the guy that said he was the chef had dirty fingernails. Not my favorite place in town. Been there twice.

Had a couple beers, nice/friendly bartenders. The menu looked good, but I didn’t eat anything because I wasn’t hungry. Quite a few people came in to get lunch while I was at the bar, they seemed happy with their food.

A nice dinner this evening on the road. We noticed this place while driving on I29 and decided to come give it a try.
The staff was courteous and helpful and the place was clean. We ordered and our food was prompt. I got a hamburger while the wife tried the pulled pork, and my mother Inlaw enjoyed her chicken strips. My father Inlaw got the “ chuckenator” and I am not sure what was on it. He enjoyed it though.

First time here, the salad I ordered had like 5 pieces of really hard chicken in it! it was all lettuce and the chicken could have broke my tooth! Why only 5 pieces on a bed of lettuce big enough for 3 salads? Not good

First time coming here and the bartender screwed our order so bad and took 20 minutes to get a beer, she then got upset with us for her screwed up, so we tried agian and she screwed it up again. This time the lettuce was brown and slimy on my burger. The beer tap smelled like it was old and moldy. No wonder this place is always dead!

Great place for a relaxed sit down with friends. The burgers here are really well made and the staff are very friendly. They have specials regularly and the drinks are good. I come here often after a long bike ride around Iowa with friends and this place consistently hits the spot.

First time visiting this interesting place on the square in Glenwood. The staff was helpful with the many options on the menu. Our party had the Mini Moose Burger, Crispy pork tenderloin, and one of the Chicken sandwiches. All of our meals were very good and the service was quick. We will stop again.
