Thoughtfully sourced seafood flown in fresh daily from around the world. Impeccable ingredients speak for themselves. We go the distance to source our seafood, meats, and produce directly from fishers and farmers who share our commitment to quality, transparency, and sustainable practices. Our guiding philosophy is simple: superior ingredients, perfectly executed. Our commitment to quality goes far beyond seafood. Steaks come from our special B&R Reserve beef program: USDA certified, aged, and cut to our specifications. Our cocktails follow the same ingredient-driven philosophy, made with hand-squeezed juices and premium spirits.

We started off with cocktails, an Espresso Martini and beer while looking over the menu. We finally decided on the Hamachi Crudo, Baja Shrimp Cevichi, Clam Chowder and 1 Stone Crab Claw (which my friend had). All the food was presented well and tasted delicious. All the seafood was very fresh. It was a great place to pre-dine before heading to the movies.
Atmosphere: nice, casual, upbeat, family feel. Service: excellent. Food: very good.
We came twice this week—once for lunch and once for dinner—and both times it was packed with happy customers. During lunchtime, the average cost is about $30 per person, which is very reasonable for the quality and experience.
The oysters are also one of the highlights here—fresh and absolutely delicious. I love this place and will definitely come back again.
Service is fine hit hit as good as the local sports bar (zipps, tailgaters, etc.) food was fine. Waitress didn’t know anything about the menu or cocktail menu, happy hour is only for the bar area which was 5 feet from where we sat (same drinks and food for 25%-50+% off.
The bartenders need training bc they can’t make a martini! I know that’s unbelievable but I dare you to try them. Small portions that weren’t filling (entrees) and just a very underwhelming experience. The hostess, the waitress & food runner were very nice so we tipped them and rated the restaurant up for, but: the food was underwhelming, price was too much for the small portions, no specials and the location had no views / isn’t anything special. I wish we went to ocean prime. ♂️
Same exact oysters are at Whole Foods for $1 each in the same shopping center!! Unreal!
I was lucky enough to go to Buck and Rider 2 times between the 6 nights.
We went with a group and the family style was NEXT LEVEL. It’s not easy to serve warm food in a family setting.
From the start with the appetizers all the way to the Ribeye + dessert, it was INSANE!
Then we went back – and the second time was amazing too!
The Buck and Rider oysters stole the show with the New York Strip a close second.
Sad to go, but I’m certain we’ll be back next time in PHX. Don’t wait though book your reservation asap!
A second visit and this was stellar. Great options for shareable plates and loved the service. Jake was outstanding.
