Authentic Zydeco Breakfast Experience!
We attended the Zydeco Breakfast at Buck & Johnny’s in Breaux Bridge, and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was lively and full of energy; nothing beats starting your morning with great music and dancing. The zydeco band set the perfect tone, and everyone was having a blast.
The food was decent; classic Cajun flavors done right. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and the Bloody Marys were spot-on. Service was friendly and quick, even with the big crowd.
If you’re looking for a true taste of Louisiana culture, this is the place to be. Come hungry, bring your dancing shoes, and enjoy one of the most unique breakfasts you’ll ever have! Arrive early sometime there is a line to get in. Doors open at 8AM

Went for the Zydeco Brunch… very fun. The place was packed. You need to get there and get in line before they open at 8am to get a table.
The music is great with a full dance floor. People watching was awesome… lot of regulars obviously come often.
The food and service were good, but disappointed that they automatically add 20% gratuity.
It is a lot of fun… but it is loud.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Came in with my family on a Friday night. The pasta was amazing. Had a three man band that was good. Not too loud. Was still able to have a conversation with the fam. Price was very reasonable. For my family of three to eat was less than $60.

The food was decent. The live music is great. We had good service.
Be aware that apparently there is a door charge after 7 pm for live music maybe? We didn’t see it anywhere, they just told us at the door. They offer the option for the bar area for no charge.

We had a custom pizza, and an appetizer sampler.

Dinner for two. Service was spectacular, ambiance and decor was amazing, great nostalgic atmosphere.
Swamp sticks, there version of cheese bread was great. The Breaux Bridge pasta was decent, lot of spice seemed to be missing something. Pork Ribeye steak was decent, thin but well flavored, the vegetable meddle was not very good, odd boiled color and many broccoli stalks were hard and fibrous chew, bland in flavor.
Cheesecake-Banana Fosters to go was very good, crust just right and very flavorful.
Will be back to catch the breakfast when traveling back through. Solid 4.4.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Service was great. $20 Cajun fish platter was a couple of fried swai nuggets and a handful of fries. Guess the catfish weren’t biting in the bayou down the street. Hot Maria was solid

Nice place with good service. The food was quick and delicious! I had the seafood pasta, it was very good but if you don’t like spice it might not be for you. The ceasar salad was great as well. I also bought the Bayou Blast pizza to take home. Haven’t tried it yet but looking forward to a good lunch tomorrow. A little pricey but the portions make up for it. Give it a try!

I went for the world famous zydeco breakfast I Loved the atmosphere my waitress was super nice. My ettoufee topped grits were hot and my biscuit was warm but the eggs and the bacon were cold. They did deduct it from my check so I’m super grateful they were understanding. I’m willing to give it another chance another day.

BEST BARTENDER IN BREAUX BRIDGE! PROB Lafayette too! Shaniel is amazing! As a former bartender of 6 years and grown up w a family of bartenders I must say that I am a tough crowd. But she is SOOO EXCEPTIONAL. She leads her waitstaff, leads her clients, and demands the respect that SHE DESERVES! I hope that B&J understands this.
