The best sammies! I heard all the hype, and went to Buck City Sammie’s, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Lenny Krabitz sandwich is something you need to drive and get! Even in sub below temps! Today started with -7, but this sandwich gets your blood pumping! The boys and I had this amazing sandwich! Go get yours. Even the pups were drooling! Yes they got a taste too! ❤️

My favorite type of food is sandwiches… And listennnn Buck City Sammies? Easily the best sandwiches in the Columbus area. Got the Chopped Cheese and The Carmella. The chopped cheese is just a chopped cheese. Chopped up burger. But the CARMELLA?! The breads perfect. Meat? Perfect. Sauce? Perfect.
Chips are included with sandwich purchase.
There were only 3 flavors. One brand. (Vickie’s)
The seating was slacking for indoors but outdoor seating is available.
They definitely need more drink options.
But I promise, you will not be let down especially if you get The Carmella.
The Carmella
The Chopped Cheese
Awesome staff also.!

Life changing Sammies
I was hesitant to try this place as other places in the east market have been disappointing. Im very happy I stopped in this is the best new place ive tried in a while. The owner was super friendly and makes you feel like family. Now id travel here from far just for the food.
The Carmella 5/5 – Come here for this sandwich. This may just be the best cold cut ive ever eaten. The bread was the star here fresh spongey sourdough that made me go wow. The rest is a work of art. Fresh thin sliced meats and cheese with the delicious oil mix iver the peppers and lettuce. Not ofter I stop and just stare at a sandwich.
Chopped Cheese- 3/5 best chopped cheese ive had that wasnt homade. I only put a 3 as I think they are overhyped its a saucy chopped smash burger on sub bread . This blended well and the bread really made this shine. If you’ve never had a chopped cheese this is a good start. Dont come here for this the first time. Its good but nowhere as good as the carmella and likely the other deli sandwiches.
Overall, ill be back here and soon. Grab a friend and split a few sandwiches to try. Dont let the prices scare you away its well worth it.

Had the chopped cheese Sammy. It was amazing. I saw it on TikTok, I’ll admit I was skeptical at first but it was worth every penny. If I was back tomorrow for work I’d 100% go back to try another Sammy

I wanted to try this sandwich because it was everywhere on social media and it had Wagyu Beef! The sandwich was just “ok” in my opinion and I probably wouldn’t get it again. I think it was missing some sort of “seasoning or flavor “. A little disappointed because I paid $20 plus on my sandwich but I will be back to try the other favorites on the menu!

Best sandwich hands down. It had plenty of deli meat and was so fresh. The Carmella is fantastic, I would recommend over and over again.

Located inside the East Market building, this sub shop is essentially a large cubicle in a food court with multiple counters serving all manners of American and ethnic foods. The sandwiches are large, pricey, and come with sides that look like afterthought. The service is a bit sketchy and seating is limited to one bench! The limited space inside the East Market building impacts the overall experience heavily.

Finally, I had time to stop by the East Market. Well worth it! Decided on a Carmella from Buck City. Staff was super friendly and you feel the pride they had in crafting this monster. It’s alot of flavor packed into this Sammie. Great heat and the vinegar tang all dance wonderfully in every bite.
Great atmosphere to just hang out and relax. Parking for lunch was super easy, but can see how it will fill up.
Many future trips in mind.

This is a very solid sandwich shop with an attractive and creative menu, both hot and cold. The Karen was excellent — rye bread was great quality, garnishes were far from boring, and it had a very hefty and satisfying portion of turkey. I’d highly recommend a side of their slaw — sweet and spicy mix that’ll pair perfectly with any sandwich. The value here matches the price. Service was super quick at lunchtime. I’d happily walk past other options and come here again next time I’m in East Market.
