The 1st visit was a 4 wing dinner. It included fries, slaw and a pop. Very good wings. Meaty wings. Seasoned wings. Decent fries. Excellent garlic bread, the best. Slaw was ok. I enjoyed my meal. Since it was my 1st visit there I received a sample Italian beef sandwich! Loved the gesture, but I have had better beefs. It lacking seasoning was the problem. But I was grateful.
Then I went a 2nd time. I saw a special 8 wings for $9. I jumped on that. But what I didn’t see was it didn’t come with fries, slaw or a pop. That’s my fault, but I was disappointed. When I got home the wings were different in size. Small, skinny, very little meat, wings. I ate them all, only because they were small.
Because of the inconsistentency in the wings and the lack of seasoning in the beef, why would I go back? Why would I recommend them?
I don’t know.
The only thing my people enjoyed is the Italian beef sandwich !!!
I informed the manager about my concern and I gave me a piece of the tender to taste …
It is so SALTY and we could not eat the rest of the meals ….Almost the whole meal was not consumed .
The manager wanted to rectify the issue , so he gave us three Italian beef sandwiches just to try to keep us somehow satisfied ….
For me , I was turned off and I do not think I will come back ever again …. This is my decision
We do appreciate the owner intention to help out but the end I did not enjoy the spending of US 48 dollars for uneaten food …
In response to the owners reply , I have made many photos to prove that most of the meal were not eaten ….
We still have with us
I am surprised that the owner named Abu Abdullah made such unprofessional reply
I would appreciate if he admits that his food was so salty …..
I am attaching photos to confirm that food was not worth the money we spent
Again I am referring to the salty dark meat and salty tenders
Again , the owner took a bite of a tender which I gave him n he confirmed that it is salty and he added that the cook might did a mistake
Thx
Their mustard sauce is very creative — it tastes like a mix of hummus and honey mustard.
The sweet and spicy sauce reminds me of Korean fried chicken and makes me miss home.
The coleslaw was impressive. Adding apple makes it much fresher and balances the greasiness.
The French fries are amazing. I can’t find another restaurant that serves such generous portions at such a low price.
I saw someone say the chicken is greasy — come on, it’s fried chicken. It’s supposed to be.
Thank you guys. I will definitely visit again.
If I could give Buck Boss more than five stars, I honestly would — and I don’t say that lightly. This place is one of those rare gems where everything just hits right: the food, the people, the vibe, and that unmistakable feeling that you’re supporting a real family-owned business that actually cares.
Let’s start with the food — because wow. You can taste the quality from the very first bite. Nothing feels rushed, frozen, or thrown together. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is on point, and the portions are generous in that “they actually want you full” kind of way. Whether it’s the pizza, wings, chicken sandwiches, or Italian beef, everything tastes like it was made with pride, not shortcuts. This is comfort food done right.
Now the atmosphere: it’s clean, welcoming, and has that laid-back neighborhood feel where you instantly feel comfortable. You can come in with family, kids, friends, or even solo, and it just works. There’s a good energy in the place — the kind where you can tell the staff enjoys being there, and that energy transfers straight to the customers.
Speaking of staff — customer service here deserves its own paragraph. Friendly, respectful, patient, and genuinely happy to help. No attitudes, no rushing you, no feeling like you’re just order number 47. They treat you like a regular even if it’s your first time. You ask a question, they answer with a smile. You need a recommendation, they actually think about it. That kind of service is rare these days.
And the best part? You can feel that this is a family-owned business in the best possible way. There’s heart behind it. There’s consistency. There’s pride in what they serve. It’s not some corporate copy-and-paste restaurant — it’s a place built by people who care about their food, their customers, and their community.
Bonus points for being reasonably priced too. Great food, big portions, solid prices — that combo is getting harder and harder to find.
Long story short:
Buck Boss isn’t just a place you try once. It’s a place you come back to… and bring people with you. Highly recommended, and definitely earned every one of those 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
And let’s talk about the food… WOW. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and seriously amazing. You can taste the quality and the love put into every dish. Great food, great people, and a great atmosphere all around. We’ll definitely be back! Buck Boss knocked it out of the park!
Would recommend!!
Everything listed was $17.
I’ll be back.
Best customer service ever. Friendly owner, fresh chicken, and the sweet sauce & mustard are so good…
