2025.12.26 A wonderful BYOB joint. The bucatini with the butternut squash sauce was great especially with the tender lobster pieces. Fettuccini was decent but could use more crab to balance the flavors in the dish. The branzino with carrot ginger sauce went well together. Mussels were tasty and the beans were a unique twist. Octopus was crispy on the outside and tender in the middle and the sauce, sides, and chili oil complemented the octopus well. Highly recommend.

We been to Bucatini 3 times, 2 times for a event with Backyard cravings & now on Valentine’s day! We have had nothing short of great service every single time, and the food no matter what it is…100/100, the owner you can tell takes great pride even walked around this time around and welcomed us, he also is back there every time cooking! we love that it’s always something different when we go, my favorite so far was the Veal though, can’t wait to go back!

Bucatini is truly a gem! I’ve been twice now and both have been with 6 people. This time we went for a girls birthday dinner and the service and food are above and beyond! I love that they update their pastas seasonally and all are so good. Also a plus that it’s a BYO. I will be back soon and would recommend this place to anyone I know. Revisited the place for a sit-down experience. I still think the overall experience and cozy atmosphere deserves five stars. Although the dishes we had weren’t perfect, the flavors were on point and well balanced. Truly a hidden gem in the city!

Amazing Italian spot in South Philly! Fantastic service, shout out to our server Sam. Please order every pasta dish on the menu when you stop by, you can’t go wrong! The bucatini was to die for. A+ on the dessert as well, don’t sleep on that olive oil cake!

The service was amazing. All the severs were very attentive. The octopus was nice a charred but it was a bit on the salty side. The beef carpaccio was a bit too sour problem too much lemon juice. The squid ink rigatoni was very flavorful and we also really enjoyed the bread it was nice and chewy and the sun dried tomatoes dip was the bread was also really good.

Wonderful Italian byo. Very nice service in a comfortable atmosphere. The food is the star of the show. Everything was delicious. For apps we had eggplant with burrata, stuffed long hots and bruschetta. I’d recommend all of them. For dinner we had salmon, pasta with clams, pasta with scallops, and lemon pasta with crab. Again all were delicious. Prices are very fair here. Definitely check it out!
