Family-style meal – the meat sauce was excellent. We enjoyed the bruschetta – fresh tomato mixture on thin garlic bread – & the chicken parm. They were very kind to make a couple of changes to dishes for us. I’d recommend a bit more al dente on the pasta and a little less rubbery texture on the calamari. Overall we enjoyed the meal and ordered food to go for tomorrow. Ashleigh was an outstanding server, and the manager was super friendly.

We didn’t like the food or the service. The chicken Parmigiano was not cooked properly, chicken was still pink and raw in the center. None of the dishes had a flavor to say wow.. the waiter was very forgetful, we had to remind few times as to what we requested for.. the waiter didn’t know what was the special for the day, where they had a board at the entrance written about the specials… we have had much better italian food in Charlotte…

The food was delicious. So much food, we had leftovers for two days. The service was a bit slow even though they were not busy… seemed very short staffed. Also heard the banter in the kitchen, and it sounded like they were training new cooks.

The lady who set up the table for us informed us about trio, small and large portion. When the actual server came we asked what is Trio? He was clueless !
He was not refilling our drinks (non-alcoholic)!
He didn’t know the soup of the day!
He was not knowledgeable about the bar as well. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for drink!
He failed to offer us a birthday cake!
We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. There was a birthday sign on our table still server didn’t offer us a cake. He brought the check so I asked for the birthday cake and his argument was that some people do not want it so I didn’t ask! He should be courteous to ask as they advertise celebrate birthday with us (cake worth $18)… he definitely should not have assumed!
If the server is new, pls train him/her before sending on the floor.

No one was there to greet us when we came in. I ordered a drink from the bar but got something completely different.
We ordered meatballs as an appetizer. They came out cold. Sent them back.
Entrees arrived..sent the broccoli back as it was terrible. Lasagne has very little meat sauce, I honestly thought it was vegetarian at first. I had to look at the menu to see if there was meat in it. Garlic cheese bread wasn’t great- we didn’t take the remainder home. Meatballs (our appetizer) finally reappeared towards the end of the meal. We just had them boxed to take home. When I ate them later, they were delicious.

Our server Tammy was great. Very personable and attentive. She was a bit nervous about it being her first day, but she did a great job. Food has good, but our chicken was a tad overcooked.

We used to love this place when the kids were little and we were in the area so we stopped for dinner. It took almost 10 minutes for a hostess to arrive up front. We checked in with the bartender after 5 minutes and he said she should be there soon. Tables around us were never cleared of dishes the entire time we were there so we ate surrounded by dirty dishes. When the waitress cleared our table, she would just set the dirty dish on the table next to us. Food service was extremely slow and mediocre. None of our meals came out at the same time. We chalked it up to them just being understaffed, but when we walked by the kitchen as we were leaving there were 7+ people in there laughing and just joking around. We definitely won’t be going back and it is sad because we remember what it once was.

This place was great! I’ve gone twice now, and both times it was awesome! I have a severe allergy and they did EVERYTHING to prevent all cross contamination. It tasted great! The staff was really kind and helpful! They give you big portions since it is an Italian restaurant so you have leftovers if you get your own dish! The first time I went they gave us a tour. But because of Covid-19 we couldn’t exactly go to the kitchen and meet the chef like before. It seemed as though it tasted better. I think that almost anyone who comes will LOVE it!

My wife and l came for date night! We got a coupon in the mail. Gabby was the best hostess – my wife is pregnant and she seated us at a booth to be comfortable. Tiffany made us feel welcome and was quick with serving. She also gave great parenting advice! We loved the experience – hadn’t been here since high school! Will be back.
