searched “burger near me” and a few spots popped up, but this place stood out immediately with 98% recommended — and now I understand why.

I ordered the weekly special, The Glitch Bub, and it was a 10/10. Seriously, it had everything you could want in a burger. Perfect balance, great flavor, and just insanely good overall.

I also grabbed cheese fries with bacon and ranch — another 10/10. If you’ve ever had Portillo’s and loved that onion ring and cheese combo, this takes that experience to a whole new level.

I got everything to go, and even after a 25-minute drive home, it was still amazing. The packaging was flawless — everything stayed clean, fresh, and well organized.

The inside of the restaurant was super fun and inviting too, with arcade games and plenty of seating. I already can’t wait to go back and try more.

(No pictures of the food… I ate it way too fast.)

Bub’s Nola is a throwback joint!

It has a very lively 80’s arcade feeling interior with pinball machines in the back.

I was really craving a juicy burger after being out in city park during the day and appreciated that this shop stays open later than 6pm.

I ordered an Impossible Rodeo Burger with shoestring fries. Although it was not spicy at all after being described as such, it was a fantastic burger. A real “Americana experience”

With indoor and outdoor seating, this is a great joint for families, solo eaters, friends, and date nights.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and musical selection as well.

My main point of improvement is:

– Burgers are on the more expensive side, for these prices, they should include fries.

If you get the mushroom bacon Swiss you better check and make sure there is Swiss cheese and it’s a double burger. If you want a mushroom bacon burger this is the one for you. There was barely any burger at all. I understand it’s a smash burger, but this was less meat than a McDonald’s single burger and it was a double? This was a rip off.

Best Burger spot, hands down! I ate here a few days ago after visiting new orleans from California while driving out here fr dropping my daughter off to start College out there and i googled a coop spot to eat and ran across this place. That Pineapple Jack burger was and them brussel sprouts was so darn good!

Look, I got delivery and made sure to go out of my way to give a good review.
That should be good enough for you to give this place a shot.
I had the Bub Royale and the Degen fries
I already can’t wait to eat at place again.

I could eat at this place like every other day if I’d lived here. We had pin ball machines and some retro arcades. There was swag for purchase and we had games on the tv’s. It was a smaller joint with options matched to smash burgers (better and way better priced) and sides which my wife and I had a couple micro burgers and cheese fries for lunch, just right portion size, which was just before our long walk through town. I’m sure if we had planned on a dinner venture, we would have gotten some bigger portions. I totally dig this place. Easy to find and being 1 pm, it wasn’t hard to find parking on the road side.

Cool, quaint spot that the locals appear to frequent. I felt it was a little over priced for a burger, but gave it a try. I like that the burgers were not just your standard burger, but was looking for better beef patties. I landed on a hot sausage burger that was delish and a beef burger, too. The service was friendly.

Twice in 48 hours!

Bub’s is one of those places where once you eat it, it sticks in your head — juicy, well-balanced, and cooked just right. No gimmicks, no overthinking, just a solid, well-executed burger that makes you come back sooner than planned.

This place has officially entered my regular rotation, and I’m not pretending otherwise. If you’re in NOLA and craving a proper burger, Bub’s delivers.

Their burgers are AMAZING!! Sadly they don’t have a fully vegan option unless you want a lettuce wrapped burger since their buns are only brioche BUT they do hade an impossible burger! Their fries and onion rings are good, especially when you put them in the burger. Their Bubs sauce is like a mayonnaise sauce but not, I don’t exactly know how to describe it but they don’t spare any expense with putting the toppings on!

The food is delicious, definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had. The atmosphere has a retro vibe, with arcade games and pinball. Limited indoor seating, but also has outdoor tables. Note- they do not serve alcohol.
