We came early during a weekday and experienced no wait at all. Service was friendly. We ordered the Nutella and berry jam pancakes, they were amazing! Definitely enough to share with friends as you cannot finish it by yourself! The chicken sandwich was also great. I’d give 4/5 for the food because on one occasion that I came for brunch i found a piece of steel wool in my pancake.

Before coming here we read about Bubby’s New York that it is a beloved restaurant with locations in several neighborhoods across New York City. The restaurant is well-known for its comforting and classic American fare, including delicious breakfasts, hearty brunch options, and mouthwatering comfort foods. We really got what we read about it. As we guessed it will have a line outside, glad we went early in the morning which made our wait time shorter.

There was a wait to get in so we suggest making a reservation and being prompt to showing up. The wait wasn’t long since we opted to sit at the bar. The bartenders know what they are doing and are very personable and friendly. We had one of the BEST mezcal mules I’ve ever had, at least top 2 or 3 on the list, and we’ve been to Mexico. Can’t say enough good things about this place. No wonder the line is out the door to get in. Don’t hesitate, just go.

Great food and service with a good atmosphere. I had the Turkey Reuben sandwich, which was top notch. The others in my party had the hot chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese. Both got top marks! Great atmosphere but busy, booking is a must.

I’ve known about this restaurant for a long time. When I was learning about baking pies I took out the restaurant’s cookbook about pies. At that time I thought this restaurant must be really good if they have their own cookbook about pies. Although I finally visited the restaurant after all this time it wasn’t for the pies. I came with one of my best friends for brunch. There was a really short wait on line but we managed to get a table. My friend ordered an Arnold Palmer. He said he liked it. I ordered an iced coffee with oat milk. I thought it was so cute that they put their beverages in mason jars. We both shared an order of the buttermilk biscuits. They were really good. They were still warm from the oven. My friend ordered the fried chicken with grits. I ordered the Abe Lincoln breakfast. Unfortunately I have a little critique about the grits. My friend remarked they were lumpy. I agreed with him. Other than that we had an enjoyable meal that we were stuffed at the end. I really want to come back again to try the sourdough pancakes because I heard the restaurant is popular for them. I also definitely want to try the pies. Lol! Especially the banoffee pie. Overall my friend and I really had a nice experience at Bubby’s. I can see why it’s a classic restaurant of New York.

Came here on a Sunday morning as a party of two and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and we didn’t have to wait at all to place our order. We split an order of two biscuits which were delicious (especially the fresh butter and jam). I had the chicken and pancakes which were AMAZING. The entrees are large so be prepared to share or take some home so it doesn’t go to waste.

Worth the hype! The wait was quick and so was the service. Could not believe how delicious the pancake flight was and the green omelette was also really good. The best part? Waitress put ketchup and hot sauce on my table without me having to ask.

I came here with my friends and we all split the pancake flight. The first thing I have to say is that $26 for three pancakes is a steep price, and to be honest I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I get that it’s a high end place and everything from the staff to the tableware reflects this, but if you’re coming for only the food there are cheaper places with the same quality. The pancakes were incredible good however, they were very fluffy and the toppings made each one unique while still blending well all together.

Came through on a weekday afternoon and outside seating was available. There would have been a 20 minute wait to sit inside. The outdoor space is covered and comfortable on a summer day. The waitress forgot a few key order notes, so I took away a star for that, but the chicken sandwich with chili oil was very good and not too spicy. The lavender mimosa was tasty, but definitely artificially flavored. They have vegan friendly options and a sizeable menu. Would go again.
